Chapter 5: Lunch Date with Momo!

"AKANE, YOU'RE DEAD!!!"

"Awww, come on, Sasuke! Don't be a wuss!! It's just lunch!"

"How can you do this to me?!"

"It's time for you to man up and win her over by your charms!! Today's the day!!"

"You have to kill me first!"

Akane was trying to release her best friend from holding a column. It already took a lot of effort to drag him out of the classroom and into the hall to get to the top of the stairs where they're supposed meet Momo.

Sasuke desperately held onto the column with his arms around it as the brunette try to pull him away from it. "Sasuke!! She's already waiting for us! This is your chance!"

"How about you tell me first before going on ahead and do things on your own?!" He barked at her, still clinging on to the column.

Akane kept yanking on the back of his shirt, this time harder. "If I did, you would've said no!"

"Then you shouldn't have done this!"

"Why are you being a pansy?! You're supposed to be a guy! You should be happy that I did this!" As his fingers begin to hurt, Sasuke can feel his hands are about to slip by Akane's strong pulls. He finally released his grip and he was shoved roughly to the door of the rooftop.

"ARGHHHH!!!"

Akane threw him out as he stumbled to catch his footing until he landed on someone on the other side of the door. Sasuke groaned as he lifted himself, but he froze when he sees a blue eyed girl underneath him. Momo gawked at him widely as the Uchiha blushed fiercely at the sight of her.

Crap...!

"S-Sorry," he quickly sat up while raising his hands up in defense. That damn Akane is gunna get it...

Momo imitated his face as she looked away shyly and tried to cover the atmosphere with a smile.

"U-Um, it's okay," she said gently. "You're Sasuke-kun, right? Akane-chan's friend?"

"Yeah... You can say that," he nodded while rubbing his head. He forgot. He never spoken to Momo before. Now that he realized where they are, Sasuke spun his head around to find his brunette friend but she's no where to be found.

He froze.

She's not here!

"W-Where's Akane-chan?" Momo asked. This made Sasuke sweat drop at her question. He's asking himself the same thing. Gripping his lunch, the Uchiha is internally furious.

She's not planning to leave me alone with her, is she?!

"I don't know, she was right behind me when I was coming up the stairs with her," he explained as he quickly stood up and headed towards the door where he entered.

Suddenly the door flung open and hit Sasuke against his face, and then came out Akane with an innocent smile on her face. "Here I am!! I was just tying my shoes, hehe.." She lied. Her shoes doesn't have any laces in the first place.

Behind her is an angry Sasuke who is on urge of strangling Akane, but he resisted by making peaceful thoughts in his head.

Momo looked more relax when she sees her. "Akane-chan, thank you for inviting me to eat lunch with you guys." She smiled back as she sat next to her on the floor with Sasuke sitting the other side of Momo, looking like he wants to hang himself.

Why am I here...?

"No problem! Is that your lunch?" Akane pointed to her lap. Momo shook her head while opening her bag as two bento lunches appeared in front of them.

"No, it's for you guys!" She boasted. Once she opened the lid, both Akane and Sasuke were amazed how nice the food looked inside.

"And this is mine," Momo pulls out a smaller bento box which made the other two surprised. Akane gasped at the sight of the lunches.

"You made these for us?!" She gawked and Momo nodded. "This is a lot of food!!"

She laughed quietly to herself, blushing in embarrassment. "Yeah, well, I guess I got a little too excited just by thinking about having lunch with you guys. I didn't realize I was making a lot."

"You shouldn't have! This looks so amazing! Forget my lunch I brought!!" Akane praised as she raised her chopsticks.

"You brought sweets again, didn't you?" Sasuke asked. Akane nodded shamelessly, making the Uchiha sigh and hit gently behind her head. "Be grateful that Momo made enough for us."

"I am!" She pouted. "And now... itadakimasu!" Akane, being the savage carnivore she is, went for the fatty beef and poked it, throwing it in her mouth. Sasuke pinched a hamburger and ate the whole piece in a bite. Waiting for their reaction, Momo watched them eat her food happily.

"Delicious~! You're a good cook, Momo!" Akane beamed with wide smile, grabbing more food on her plate.

Sasuke swallowed as the blue eyed girl turned to him anxiously. "How is it?" He had an amazed expression.

"It's really good," he said to her, and this made Momo extremely happy, smiling kindly at him and making Sasuke feel small.

"Really? I'm glad!" They didn't see, but Akane was watching with focused eyes on them as she quietly cheered on for her best friend. She felt like firing up some fireworks.

That must have won him some points.

"Hey, hey! Momo, can you feed Sasuke for me, please? Since I'm sitting way over here. I know he's a big guy, but he always have trouble eating!" Sasuke's eyes shrank. She did not just say that.

"Shut. Up. Shut. Up. Shut. Up." He shook her by her collar. Akane was trying to hold in her laughter, but someone had already beat her to it as the two turned the girl sitting by them. Momo couldn't stop laughing at them as Akane and Sasuke let go of each other, looking embarrassed.

"Y-You two seem really close," she spoke in between laughs. "I don't know why, but... Watching you two is really funny!" She giggled a few more times behind her hand, wiping away a tear as the two looked at each other questioningly. "This is really fun. It would be nice to have lunch with you guys again!"

Clapping her hands together, Akane gaped her mouth and hugged Momo dearly in her arms. "Of course, you can! Just give us a call if you want to eat with us again." Pulling out her cell phone from her bag, Akane gave it her. "Let's exchange numbers!"

"Yes, and Sasuke-kun, too!" Momo mentioned, causing the Uchiha look up from his lap. He had a surprise look on his face as Akane was making a thumbs up at him.

In a way, he felt relieved for hearing Momo wanting his number. He had no choice but to give it to her, knowing that he couldn't say no to that face.

Akane smirked to herself. Everything is according to plan...!
