5. ɪɴғᴏ ʜᴜɴᴛ

It's now Monday. You don't like Mondays. But especially not this Monday, how could you? You got no sleep. You were up all night gathering information. Your board looks like it was made by a crazy person.

Your aunt may knocks on your door and you scramble the board onto your closet before opening your door.

"M-Mornin' may!" You rub your eyes. They're red and itchy.

"woah-! Jumpscare. Are you sick? Are you faking sick to get out of detention?" She questions.

You get an idea. "I feel sick. Maybe someone at that uh memorial was sick..?"

"Yeah fair enough. To be fair I saw snobby Suzie sneezing." She whispers and then laughs. "I'm going to work, you get some rest." You wave her off then shut your door and open the closet.

So far you have a list on all the villains and the missing heroes. It seems as tho the villains have truly stepped it up. You also have diagrams on who hates who and who could be doing these murders. You might be in danger(aswell as your aunt may) so this is very important.

There's been a new cult on the rise called the eggpire and it isn't fizzling out like most others. The 'Dream Team' villains have been causing more chaos and so has rocket duo(we love them). Of course the sbi has been... something. Las Nevadas is is trying to branch out and the syndicate is causing issues. There's so much that needs to be done.

You wish you knew their secret identities but you don't. You'll have to do 'interviews' maybe even talk to Ms Puffy's friend the Warden. And in perfect time you get a notification that the villain sly or sky fox is setting fire to buildings again.

Some say that his father is Orpheus and that's why he doesn't use TNT. He used to work with some unknown villain. Pretty sure he's in jail now tho...right?

No matter! You put on your suit and swing off to the area. Usually this wouldn't be a you problem but it's clear that no normal hero would do this after all the threats. So being a Kool kid, you do it.

"C'mon man. Fire? Really?" You blankly stare at the fox while standing on the ceiling. (Upside down.)

He yells and jumps slightly before coughing. "Yes. Fire because I'm evil ahahahah" he does an evil laugh. " Oh nevermind! God I just can't get into character anymore." He huffs.

"Cause all the heroes dipped?" You question as you jump down.

"Yeah. I mean it's just- no offense to you but, it's to easy. Who wants to fight cops?" He lights something else on fire which you quickly put out with the fire hydrant.

"Right. So maybe just don't cause issues?" You smile, though no one can see because of the mask.

"Why would I do that? Wait who are you? Are you a hero?" He tail wags involuntarily, but you ignore it for his embarrassment sake.

"Yuppp! It's me- uhhh ooh what if I went by arachnid? That's so much cooler than 'spiderkid' bleh." You think out loud.

"Wait you're spiderkid? Oh boss will be so proud of me for spotting you!" He smiles.

"What- wait Las Nevadas...leader.... Fuck why can't I remember! Nevermind why would he be proud? You losers aren't trying to kill me or something right?" You lean towards him which causes his tail to wag even more and he starts stuttering.

"Wha- n-no! I'm not allowed t-to say tho! Haha- bYe" He rushes off and you sigh. What the fuck was that? No information.

You needed information and no one was giving you it! Gods was this frustrating.

You decided to go for a 'walk'. By walk I of course mean swing. You begin swinging around until you freeze in your spot. There were two red/ white individuals. Those were the colors of the eggpire. You decided to find a spot and watch them.

"Listen I love bad, I do, but this plan could go wrong in so many ways." Rose sighs to ponk. They're both known villains.

"But it's worth it for them isn't it?" He happily sighs. "The egg wouldn't be wrong."

"I know. I just wish there was a different way to get my rosebud. They'll be so scared!" She shakes her head while picking up a rose from the rooftop garden. It turns white in her touch.

"Awh but they look so cute when they're scared! It will be fine. The egg will help. We just need to get them to come to the re-" He starts but then a bird starts attacking you and you fall from your hiding spot.

Which causes them to of course spot you.

"...rosebud? I mean- uh- hero-?" She nervously stammers.

"Shit-! And I almost figured it out! I hate birds" you huff before realizing the villains were staring at you. "Uh I mean- listen I definitely wasn't spying!" You nervously stammer.

The villain ponk smiled, though you could barely tell because of his mask. He fiddled with his vine arm nervously. "uhh.. we haven't done any spying either..!" He nods and the rose joins in.

"That's suspicious.." you raise an eyebrow.

"No your suspicious!" Rose uno cards the situation.

"No-... Uhh I gotta- gotta go! Bye-?" You swing off.

At home,"no way. Okay so whoever this uh 'rosebud' is, is in danger!" (Stupid) you put more information on the board. You'll need to talk to that warden guy.

You then hear your phone ring and pick it up.

"[Name] where the fuck are you?" Tubbo.

"Uhhhh- sick-" you then fake a cough.

"Oh no! After school we'll come over!" Ranboo speaks up.

"Not uh- not necessary! I'll probably be asleep- BYE!" You then hang up on them.

"Ranboo they aren't sick." Tubbo tells ranboo while looking up from his phone.

"They aren't?" They question.

"Nope. Look 'spiderkid' caught by a fire. They're skipping. We should tell them off-" tubbo starts.

"They don't know we know so that's not our best bet. We should just keep an eye on them. it'll be okay tubs." Ranboo reasons.

"I bet it's that freak purpled fault.!" Tubbo seethes.

Meanwhile Mr.Halo is checking his messages in the class next door. He smiles knowing all the things are adding up.

You finally take a nap.
