"Ah SpiderKid, glad you could join us! A few minutes late but.. that's fine." The man smiles brighty before holding his paw out for you to shake, "I'm AntFrost. Pleasure to meet you."

You shake his paw and nod. "Yeah uh, me SpiderKid? No wait sorry, you already know my name... I don't know why I said that... Uh.. sorry.." You let go of his hand.

He giggles, "ah no worries! Just glad you could make it. We couldn't figure out how to give it to you, especially after the invite went missing." He forces a smile. "But nonetheless you came!"

"Yeah!" You nod. "So uhm-"

"Oh right! This way!" He leads you into the building and down a long set of stairs. "Ponk should be right here with the coat room."

You freeze looking at the people there and back away.

"I'd everything alright?" He puts a paw on your shoulder.

"This is a peaceful party right?" You look to him.

"Uhm.." he takes his paw off your shoulder and distinctly wiped the sweat off on his clothes, "yes. Of course. Why?"

"If some of the other party guests like... threaten me, or try to... I dunno, kidnap me, your people won't let that happen right?" You awkwardly fidget with your web shooters.

He notices. "Oh. Pssh. Yeah, my people will make sure no one else bothers you." He smiles. "You will be safe from them."

"Uhm.. okay.. thanks man." You nod. The other who were talking to ponk walk further down to the main area, "you can go now." Ponk says to the others.

You walk over to him, "uhm, sorry if this is like a weird question, but what type of stuff would I give to you for the storage room..?"

Ponk was wearing a rather fancy red white and black suit. His arm seemed to be made of vines, but you ignored that. His entire face was covered in a mask, all but his abnormally red eyes. Everything was very red. It was a red banquet after all.

His eyes lit up, but he talked as if he was feeling normal, "Ah not a weird question at all!" He pulled you into the storage room and opened up a storage device, "weapons, extra food, actual coats. Anything you need for us to hold until the end of the party, or whenever you.. chose to leave."

"Oh! Okay! Uhm.. and-"

"The only required object is weapons. Axes, swords, those handy dandy 'bracelets'. Not up to code. code.." He nods his head.

"Oh. Well I would rather like to keep them.. uh.. haven't had good experience with things, people, so defense."

"Well, unfortunately it is necessary, don't see why it'd be an issue unless you were planning an attack, during a peaceful party."

"No! No. Uhm.." you think for a moment. You need information. More than anything. "Okay-"

The moment you give him the okay, the right away, he quickly takes your web shooters and somehow empty your pockets. Dumping it all in the chest and locking it. "Just so others don't get into it." He smiles.

You nod, feeling bad. The gut feeling is run, flee, go and never return, but you have to, for your aunt to have a safe city, to prove yourself worthy, and to eventually defeat all the weirdos and..

Yeah. You start heading down the stairs, The feeling of chills hits you.

The room is entirely "decorated" in red vines. Lanterns and lava creating a soft orange lighting. There was a giant table, with name tags, and a dance floor. But the weirdest thing, the thing most odd, was the giant egg in the corner,

Or perhaps the small crowd of people you have most definitely met.
