Josh's POV

When we reach the cave, I hesitate to enter it, but after I take a deep breath, I carefully walk inside, getting ready to be attacked.

Wyatt and Joseph are walking behind me, letting me handle the situation, and I'm thankful for this, because I don't want my mate to be scared of us.

I enter the cave, and the first think that I see is a handsome guy, he looks to be a bit older than me, most likely a bit more than five years.

Which is fine with me, although I would have preferred a small Omega, because it would mean that I wouldn't have to carry a kid.

But I knew that it will most likely not happen, and to be honest, I'm just happy that I have found my mate, because it means that I will be able to move out of my family house.

"Hi." I say, when he looks at me with a bored expression.

He looks like he wants to be anywhere but here, and I can't blame him, because I know that there are a lot of people in the woods right now, and most of them are looking for him.

"Go away." He tells me.

"I won't hurt you." I say. "Can I look at your leg?" I ask, when I remember that he's bleeding, even though he tried to bandage the wound.

"I don't care." He says, before he lets his head rest against the wall, so I start to walk towards him, but Wyatt stops me.

"What if he will hurt you?" He asks.

"I will be alright." I assure him, before I move towards my mate again.

I can feel Joseph and Wyatt's eyes on me, while I sit next to my mate.

Then I untie the pants form his leg, and he winces slightly when the air hits his wound.

"It doesn't look good." I say, and Joseph comes over to see the wound too.

"Yeah, we will have to take him to the Doctor, if you don't want him to get an infection." Joseph says.

"What's your name?" I ask my mate.

"Nicolas." He tells me.

"I'm Joshua." I say, but he doesn't look very interested in this information.

"Can you stand up?" I ask him, and he frowns.

"Aren't you going to call the police?" He asks, not believing that I'm actually trying to help him.

"No, I will take you to a private Doctor, he won't tell the police that you're with us." I promise him, and he nods reluctantly, before he stands up.

"How did you take the handcuffs off?" Joseph asks him, looking impressed that my mate's capable of something like this.

"It's easy if you know where to break your palm." He tells us with a shrug.

The cuffs are still hanging from his other hand, so I will have to make sure that I will take them off when we will reach the pack house.

I wonder if I should tell Nicolas that we're werewolves, but I think that he had enough for today, so it will have to wait for a while.
