Josh's POV

I can't remember the last time that I went to the pack run, I didn't like it, and I most likely wouldn't go there again, but Nicolas wants to see how it look like, so I will go there for him.

We change our clothes, and we head downstairs, where my parents and younger brothers are already eating breakfast.

We greet each other, and then Nicolas and I make a salad for ourselves, picking the vegetables that we want to eat from the bowls that are on the table.

When we're done eating all of us go to the training grounds, where the pack run will begin in a few minutes.

Denver's already here, but it seems that his triplet sons decided that it's not for them, because only his mate and eldest son are standing with him.

We wait for a few minutes, until the rest of the people come here, and then we shift into our wolves.

I lower myself to the ground, to let my mate climb on my back, and then I wait for Denver to start running.

I'm standing at the front, a little behind Denver, because he's at the very front, while his mate and son are right behind him.

My family is at the front, because we're a part of the Alpha's family, so I can see most of my brothers form where I'm standing.

Behind my family, are some warriors, in case that we would need help if there will be attack or something, and behind them are all the pack members that aren't warriors.

Then at the end, the rest of the warriors are standing, making sure that no one will get left behind.

Denver howls loudly, to tell everyone to get ready to run, and then he starts to run through the woods.

We don't run very quickly, because there are women here too, and they have a lot smaller wolves, along with Omegas who are even slower.

So, I'm sure that Nicolas will be alright with this speed.

We run around the pack border for a few times, which takes over an hour, before the pack run ends, and everyone heads to the pack house, while my brothers go to their houses.

I wait for everyone to pass me, before I shift back, and I put on some clothes.

When I'm ready to go, I extend my hand to my mate, and I lead him to the house.

"What's the point of this run?" He asks me. "I mean, it was fun, but all of you just run in circles for an hour." He says.

"We do it to make a bond between all the pack members, it's supposed to make us like each other more, but I doubt that it works, and I'm sure that Denver knows that it doesn't, so it's just for fun I guess." I say, and he nods in acknowledgement.

We walk in silence for the rest of the way, and when we reach the house, we decide to stay in the back yard for a while, because some of my brothers are at my house, and I don't really feel like talking to them.
