Josh's POV

A few days later, Nicolas and I are sitting in the living room, with my younger brother and my parents, when the front door opens, making all of us frown.

Papa stands up to see who came here, because they have masked their scent, but he only manages to recharge the doorway, before Ryker hugs him tightly.

Then the boy sniffs, which makes papa get down to his level, so he can see him properly.

"What happened to you?" Papa asks with a small gasp, which makes dad go there too.

"Dad hit me." Ryker answers, talking about my brother, Reggie.

"He did?" Dad asks worriedly, and Ryker nods.

"Why?" Papa asks him gently, before he picks him up, and he brings him to the couch, where he places him on his lap.

"Because I told him that I won't clean my room, it's already clean, but he says that it's not, and he told me that I won't get any ice cream today which was mean, so I told him that I hate him, and he hit me." Ryker says.

"I will make sure that I will talk to him." Papa tells him, and dad nods.

"Yeah, he can't hit you, even if he's angry at you." Dad says.

I'm not surprised that tata is staying out of it, because Reggie isn't his son, so he decided a long time ago, that he won't get into the business of papa and dad' kids.

Although all of my brother's kids treat him as a grandfather, and they don't care that he has nothing to do with them biologically.

I'm sure that tata wouldn't care that my half brothers aren't his kids, same as papa doesn't care that my full brothers and I aren't his.

But most of my half brothers are not much younger than him, and they grew up as brothers for years, so that would be weird for them.

Reggie was the only one that was still a small kid when my parents realised that they're all each other's mates, but tata decided that he won't count him as his son either, because he wanted to treat all of them equally.

"Does anyone know that you're here?" Dad asks Ryker a while later.

"No, and don't tell anyone." He says, before he touches his eyes to get rid of the tears.

"I will have to call your parents, but you can stay here for the night, I will talk to your dad, and I'm sure that he will agree." Papa says, and Ryker agrees, before he follows dad up the stairs, to the guestroom.

Papa takes out his phone, and he calls the youngest of my half brothers, with a stern expression on his face, so I'm sure that Reggie will have a very long and unpleasant conversation with papa today.

"What have you done?" Papa asks a few seconds later.

"Well, I don't care that you got angry, I want to see you here in five minutes, or I will tell Denver to take your kids away from you." Papa threatens, which makes my eyes widen, but then he hangs up the phone, so I guess that Reggie agreed to come here.
