Nicolas' POV

When we reach a house, which is bigger than any house I have even been inside of, we walk through the front door without knocking.

Joshua's family has to be important here, because this is the only house that I saw on our way here, and it's huge.

I wonder if Joshua has a big family, I will have to ask him about it later on.

We find some men in the living, and I don't think they're old enough to be Joshua's parents, so they must be his older brothers.

But I'm proven wrong when Joshua pulls me with him, and we sit on the couch.

"Isn't this then man that the pack was looking for a few days ago?" One of the men says.

"Yes, I found him, and he's my mate, so we will have to keep him." Joshua says happily.

"You found your mate?" The smallest one asks.

"Yes." Joshua says, and then the small man screams in joy, before he comes over to hug Joshua.

The biggest one looks at me for a while, and then he stands up, which makes be a bit scared that he will hit me or something.

But he extends his hand for me to shake it, so I stand up,, and I do it with a smile.

"Carter." He says.

"Nicolas." I say.

"I know, I have heard your name a few times when we were looking for you." He says with a hug. "I just hope that you won't do anything stupid here, or else you will have a pack of wolves looking for you, not only the police." He tells me.

"They already were looking for me." I say, and he laughs slightly.

"That's true." He says, before he moves, so the slightly smaller man can greet me.

"I'm Mason." He says, so I nod in acknowledgement, while I shake his hand.

All of us sit on our previous spot, and they demand for us to tell them how we met, so I let Joshua does it, before we change the topic to something else.

Not much later, Joshua's brother come into the house.

So, Joshua introduces me to him, and a while later, he introduces me to another one.

When all of us get tired of talking, they force me to eat something, even though I'm not hungry.

And then Joshua takes me back to the hospital, where we talk some more, but this time alone.

When it gets dark, Joshua decided to stay with me here, so I move a little bit, which gives him enough space to lay next of me.

But a few minutes later, the Doctor comes here, most likely to see if I'm still fine, but it's not like I will die in a matter of a few minutes or something.

And when he sees that Joshua is about to fall asleep, he forces him to get out of my bed, and then out of the room, saying that this bed is for one person, and that the guests can't stay at the hospital at night.

I groan in frustration when the Doctor checks my leg again, but it's because of the fact the Joshua had to leave because of him.

And when the Doctor finally leaves, I quickly fall asleep.
