Nicolas' POV
A week later, when Joshua goes to the training again, I decide that I will finally go out of the house without him.
He tried to convince me to do it a lot of times over the last few weeks, but I prefer to just wait for him I the house.
Although I think that it would be useful to find someone to hang out with.
So, I walk out of the front door, and I decide that I should got to my right, I have no idea why, because the pack lands are pretty much the same from all the sides.
It's just woods with some clearing, but the right side will be quiet, because most of the people will be on the other side, where the pack training is.
So, I go there, hoping that I will find some clearing, I already know that all the people that are under twenty five won't be here, as long as they're not kids, because most people are at the training.
But that's good, because I'm not a teenager anymore, and I think that I should find myself a friend that is my age.
I definitely don't want an Omega friend, not that I hate Omegas or something, but I would prefer someone that is less shy, and a bit more like me.
Before I can reach any clearings, I spot a gun, which is laying on the ground, so I pick it up and I smile when I look at it.
It has been a while since I held something like this in my hands, and I didn't think that it will ever happen again.
But I have it now, and I would like to use it on something, so I hide the gun under my clothes, and I move through the woods, hoping to find some deer or squirrel, because I don't really want to shoot the trees.
I know that the deers are common in this forest, but I'm not sure if they enter the pack lands, because there usually are a lot of people walking around the woods here.
But I'm sure that I will manage to find a squirrel or two, so I try to find them, but it's harder than I expected, because I have to look up, while I also have to look at my feet to make sure that I won't trip on something.
I hear that someone is walking my way, so I hide begins a tree, and I wait for them to pass me.
Thankfully the man that passed me didn't notice me, because he was too busy texting someone.
So, I continue to walk, until I spot two squirrels, which are sitting in a tree that is a few feet in front of me.
I take the gun out, and I decide to check if it has some bullets in it, while I swear at myself for not doing it earlier.
Thankfully it has a few bullets, which is great, because I wouldn't be happy if I walked this much for nothing.
I aim at one of the squirrels, then I shoot it, before I smile at the fact that I managed to hit it right on the head.
