Nicolas' POV

My mate is currently at the training, but it will be ending soon, and I thought that it will be a good idea to go there, so he won't have to all back alone.

And I wanted to go on a walk anyway, because I spent the whole day in the house today, also I know that when Joshua will come back, then he will go straight to sleep.

Since he will be very tired form the whole day of training, and this walk will be my only chance to spend some time with him.

So, I walk into the woods and I can't help but tense up a little bit, I look down at my feet, hoping that I won't step on any trap again.

I have enough idea why they have traps here, since I know that small kids are running through those woods in the evenings, so I guess that it wasn't supposed to be there.

At least it didn't cause much damage to my foot, and I can still walk without much problem, although it was a bit painful at first.

A few minutes later, I hear that someone is walking behind me, but I don't feel a need to look back, instead I continue to walk towards the training grounds.

But this turns out of be a mistake, because a few seconds later, I feel that he punches me, which make some turn around quickly.

"I really can't believe that everyone from the Alpha's family is into men." He tells me.

"I wouldn't say it if I were you." I tell him. "I will tell the Alpha what you think about his family, and I'm sure that he won't be happy about it." I say, and he doesn't seem to like it.

He runs towards me, and I quickly pull my knife out, before I stab him with it.

I'm not supposed to have a knife with me, but I'm a human who lives in a werewolf pack, and most of the people here are a lot stronger than me, so I have to have some help, in case of a situation like this.

He steps back, looking shocked, and he pulls his shirt up to look at his would.

I tried to his him in a place that will give him pain, but won't cause much damage.

But it seems that I hit something important, because there's is a lot more blood coming out of his wound than there should be.

My eyes widen when he falls to the ground, and I have no idea what to do.

I didn't intend to kill him, and I would feel bad if he won't survive it, so I should get help.

I go towards his unmoving body, and I check if he's still alive.

When I realise that he isn't, I quickly run back to the house, hoping that no one will find out that I did it.

There is a lot of blood, so I think that there's a chance that they won't be able to smell me.
