Josh's POV

It's the evening, and I have already came back from the hospital, after I have spent most of my day there.

But I just realised that I forgot my phone from there, and if I won't go back, then is won't be able to text my mate for the next few hours.

It would be easy to just go there and take it, but it's already dark outside, and there is one thing that my parents are very strict about.

I can't go out if it's not light enough outside, and I have to come back before it will get dark, so I walk down the stair quietly, hoping that I will manage to get outside without being noticed.

But I groan when I see that papa is talking with one of my brothers in front of the front door.

And they hear it, so they turn around to look at me, before Quinton laughs slightly.

"Were you trying to sneak out?" He asks me, and I roll my eyes, which is enough of an answer for him.

"Why did you want to go out?" Papa asks, with an arched eyebrow.

"I forgot my phone from the pack hospital." I say, but I already know that he won't see it as a good reason to go out of the house in the darkness.

I have no idea why they are this serious about it, but I guess that it's because of the fact that it's the easiest time for someone to attack us, and we won't even see our enemies in the darkness, despite the fact that we have a lot better vision than the humans.

"You will go there tomorrow, I'm sure that you will survive without it for now, because you're supposed to go to sleep soon if I'm correct." He tells me sternly.

"All of us know that I won't be going to seep anytime soon, I'm a teenager, and I'm sure that even Xander will be up for a few more hours." I tell him.

"I'm not going to let you go outside this late." He tells me, and I groan again, before I go up the stairs, since I know that I won't win this argument.

But when I get to my room, I go straight to my window, and I climb down, until I get to the ground.

Then I walk towards the pack house, but I'm stopped right after I enter the woods.

I roll my eyes, knowing that it's my father, who must have realised that I sneaked out, but when I turn around, I get punched in the face, which makes me step back from this person, and now I know that it's definitely not my father.

He might spank me for this, but he won't even hit me like how this person just did.

Before I can glance up at them, to see who they are, they hit me again, and my world gets dark, before I feel that in starting to fall to the ground, and I lose my consciousness when I hit the ground.
