Josh's POV

I wait in the living room, hoping that my mate will finally come back from his walk.

I definitely shouldn't have shouted at him, I have no idea what got over me, because I'm usually a calm person.

But it happened, and I know that I will have to apologise.

"Can I go to my room? I promise that I won't sneak out." I says honestly, but papa snakes his head.

"No, I told your mate that I will make sure that you will give him some time to have a walk on his own." He tells me, not even bothering to look up from his phone.

So, I sight in annoyance, and I let my head fall back, then I decide to lay down, because I don't really know how long I will have to wait here, and this couch is surprisingly uncomfortable today.

I accidentally fall asleep, and I wake up when I feel that someone is lifting me.

I open my eyes, and I smile when I see that it's my mate, he looks a lot less angry than the last time that I saw him, so I guess that this walk helped him clam down.

I also notice that he has a smile on his face, which I'm sure isn't because of me, so I frown.

"What got you happy?" I ask him, and he almost drops me when he realised that I'm awake.

I laugh slightly while he looks down to glare at me playfully.

"I made a friend." He tells me, and I smile.

"That's great." I say. "Who is it?" I ask him, I know a lot of people in this pack, even some of the unimportant people, so I hope that I will know who he's talking about.

"His name's Kyle." He tells me.

"I know a few men that are named Kyle." I tell him.

"He has a few kids, I met the youngest, he's named Noah." He tells me, and I try to remember if I know someone with a kid that is names with this name.

"I know him." I say, when I realise who he's talking about.

"He's a warrior, and I know that he's a nice person, so I'm sure that you two will get along." I say with a smile.

I'm happy that he met someone that is normal, because there are a lot of stupid people in this pack, and I wouldn't want him to be friends with them.

"By the way." I say when he reaches the bedroom, with me still in his hands. "I'm sorry that I shouted at you." I say, and he sets me to my feet, before he looks at me.

"It's alright, but don't shout at me again." He says, and I nod in agreement, before I hug him tightly.

He hugs me back, and we stay like this for a while, before we decide that we want to watch some football, so I let it play on my phone, before I cuddle to him.
