Chapter 2 – Who is a Raw Melon Egg1? Part 1
“What are you thinking about?”
Zu Jin was smiling while watching the boring ceremony, but those who knew her would know that her mind was not there if they saw her.
Sitting next to Zu Jin was a middle-aged man with a strong aura in a dark blue business casual suit.
The two of them have worked on several business ventures together, so they were very familiar with each other.
Zu Jin coughed. She continued to look straight ahead and said in a low voice, “Look at the front on my left. The one sitting with Chief Pan.”
Xu Tianqing took a quick look at the directions she indicated and then instantly looked back.
With interest in his eyes, he said, “That one seems to be an investor, but his specific connections are not clear. Why? What are you going to do?”
Zu Jin slowly took a deep breath.
There was no need to say much about Zu Jin’s ability to do business. In actuality, she was very discerning when it came to investing.
It’s just that as the Qiyu Corporation’s President, the annual salary and shareholder dividends were not as astronomical as what the outside world thinks.
So, whenever she took a fancy to a promising investment project over the years, she would call Xu Tianqing to invest money together. He was a big boss with a good personal relationship with her.
After a few investments, they no longer hesitated to invest together whenever she found an investment.
Because the return on investment was really high!
Thus, don’t be concerned with Xu Tianqing’s enthusiasm at this moment. In fact, from the beginning they weren’t thinking about the same thing.
In the eyes of men like Xu Tianqing, Zu Jin did not have a connection with the wind, flowers, snow, and moon2.

She moved aside unhappily. This time she didn’t want to talk to Xu Tianqing at all.
The charity party’s ceremony went on until it was early in the morning. It finally came to an end when someone bought a painting by a deceased painter at a price of more than 10 million yuan.

She took a picture of the bottle of wine brewed by a technology tycoon in an overseas vineyard.

If they run into some business matters later, both sides might as well have a connection with each other.
After leaving the banquet hall, Zu Jin immediately shivered from the cold. The early morning temperature was low and the air was damp.
After saying goodbye to the Chamber of Commerce’s executive leadership, and Xu Tianqing and several of his acquaintances, Zu Jin turned to walk towards the chauffeur’s area to be picked up.
Xia Tong saw her from far away and promptly jogged over.
She took the wine from the waiter behind Zu Jin, and the other hand immediately supported her.
Without waiting for Xia Tong to say anything, Zu Jin pointed to the wine she had just received. In a weak voice she said, “Remember to reimburse me!”
Xia Tong cried out, “Lower your voice! Don’t let anyone else hear!”
Outside of the banquet hall, there was only one road to exit the area. Currently, there were too many guests leaving, so traffic was congested for a while.
Their car got stuck in the back. The chauffeur had no alternative but to slowly follow the traffic moving forward.
But Zu Jin became restless very quickly. She was covering her lower abdomen with a hand and she had a somewhat painful expression. Then, she looked at the cars in front from time to time.
The chauffeur asked suspiciously, “President Jin, what’s wrong?
Zu Jin smiled bitterly. “Too much champagne. It’s urgent.”
“Then why don’t I get out first and in the car you……”
This chauffeur had worked for Zu Jin for several years. Besides driving her to and from work, they often went on business trips together. Therefore, there was no need to avoid taboo topics too much in this respect.
Zu Jin looked out of the car window and bit her lips. She was thinking about sayings such as people should not hold their urine until they burst and so on. But she was worried about how there were so many cars outside. If there was any chance that someone saw her, then she would no longer be able to mingle in the elite social circle.
Xia Tong suddenly grabbed her arm. “Jin Jie4, look here. I haven’t even taken a picture of you tonight!”
Zu Jin’s Weibo was always managed by Xia Tong. For such an important party tonight, it was only natural to take a few photos and upload them.
She put on a fake smile and looked at Xia Tong’s cell phone camera. She tried to cooperate, but in the next second, her attention immediately shifted to the man outside of the car window behind Xia Tong.
It was the man who ‘seduced’ her all day. At this moment, he happened to be walking alone on the sidewalk ‘again’.
It was a cold night, so the man put on his suit jacket as he walked.
At the party, she was not able to look at him closely. Now, she was able to gaze at him for a few seconds. Zu Jin discovered that his appearance was a little clearer and more upright than what she had imagined.
He didn’t look like a soft little fresh meat5. However, his appearance, demeanor, and figure were maintained so well that it could be said that he was rare, top-quality meat.

Zu Jin reflected so much on these few glances of the scenery just now that she forgot about her urgency.
She even tsked.
Xia Tong was a little frightened by the sudden and strange sound Zu Jin produced. Very carefully she said, “Jin Jie, are you all right?”
After regaining her senses, Zu Jin abruptly said with a serious face, “I’m all right so to speak. I saw an acquaintance and I’ll be taking his car to leave. Don’t worry about me.”
She finished speaking and she got out of the car.
