"Your trusted soldier seems to have doubts" The voice said.
"He will get it done." I said
"Will he? I still think you should send an army to capture her instead of this charade."
"We need her to trust us. Not obliterating us to who knows where with the amount of power she is born with.
"You would know wouldn't you?" The voice said, clearly trying to instigate me.
"I might." I say, and walk outside to the balcony, where thousands of creatures were waiting for me.
"Hail the Empress of the Galaxy! Empress Clasfier!" The announcer yelled out to the crowd.
"Welcome Planet Voanerth!" I yell out with a smile, which made the crowd roar.
They all seemed happy, as if seeing me gave them new found hope.
"Let's prove them all wrong, shall we darling?" The voice said.
"For centuries, Voanerth was under minded, underestimated, and was driven into poverty. But I see so much more. Raw power, strength and hope, and I, want to utilize it." I said, while I felt it, her, coming out.
"We, want to utilize it. Did you forget about me love?" She said, has her body, which looked like a shadow with pinch black eyes came out from behind me, and waved her hand. Hundreds, no thousands, of shadows which looked similar to her, came out. The crowd irruption in gasps. Some marveled, while some were confused.
Until they all looked horrified.
The Mistress inhaled. Screams, death, blood and pain were things she gained power from. And those things were surrounding us, giving all the shadows power.
"Be proud, creatures of Voanerth! You are contributing to a great cause and die an honorable death!
I looked away, as I saw children being devoured by those creatures, and building their own skin.
"May I ask Mistress, why don't you, build your own skin? It would be more efficient, wouldn't it?"
"Yes, it would, but I could never bring myself to leave you my love. Just as how you will never leave me!"
