Walking on the sidewalk, I noticed a figure running away into the alleyway. A figure that looked suspiciously like Kristin. Which made the plan a lot more easier.
"You remember the plan?"
"You sure I won't get arrested?"
"No matter how many times you ask, my answer will not change. You follow the plan; you will come out of this scot free and $1,000 in cash." I cannot believe it has led to me working with these miscreants.
"Yeah, about the cash, how will you give it to me?"
I'm sick of this. I knew he wasn't listening to me when I was explaining the plan. The girl isn't even here and she is still making my life hell.
"What is your name?"
"What?"
"What is your name?"
"D- Dave..."
"Dave, do you know what I do to people who question me because they did not listen carefully and think that they are better than me?"
"W- What do y- you do to them?"
"I make them quiet, so they won't bother others with their useless voice."
I heard him gulp and walked towards Kristin. Humans get so scared so fast which makes me wonder how they are still alive. Or maybe I have just been surrounded by idiots. I turn on the lilenta, which is connected to the callasi. The lilenta I planted on Kristin should deactivate her powers for a moment so she can't defend herself.
'Operation: Make Kristin Trust Me' begins now.
