Well, I would say its about time she started dating, but I myself took 25 years. Although, last I remember, Ken was incredibly sweet, kind and handsome! Maybe we could go on a double date!
What if the truth was revealed? What if the truth about who- what we are, were to come out?
This is why dating is complicated.
Hold on, are they dating?
"I have to stop assuming things..." I mumble to myself.
"Can you shut up! I am trying to do something here!" Yelled Caroline, who was excused from school because of a 'family emergency'. There was no family emergency. So I am stuck over here with her 'cause Shawn went to work, which I doubt he is doing and Jane went out with her friends, burning my money on stupid clothes.
"What are you trying to do? Make yourself magically smarter? I know miracles exist but that is—"
"Look, we both know who mom and dad favor, so I won't tell anything to them and you can keep doing your own thing, while asking, and not interrupting me. Got it?" She said, with a smirk, and tried to walk to her room as if this conservation was over. Oh, this was far from favor.
"Darling, what makes you think they favor you the most? Why do you think that they adopted us? Cause you weren't enough. And even if they did love you, they can't kick me or Kristin out. I own this house. Shawn has been doing everything but working, even though he owes a lot of money to people, and your mom has been buying things for her friends who still talk behind her back. And nobody is going to hurt Kristin, not in my watch. Got It?" I said. She then ran away into her room, which made me smirk.
Pretty sure that my hair might just light on fire with the amount of anger and disgust coursing though my veins.
"Ttrrringgg! Ttrrringgg!" Oh, is that my Fesah-keh-annor? How is somebody contacting me?
"Hello?" I said.
"Ava? Oh it is you!" John said. Wait what?!
"John? How do you have a Fesah-keh-annor?" I asked.
"I didn't get it. This is Kristin's." He said. Which made me think, how did he know how it worked?
"What??! Did Kristin really lose alien tech?! I thought she just lost it in her room! What if a human found??!! WHAT IF A ANOTHER ALIEN FOUND IT??!" I yelled, pretty sure my mind was going to explode. It didn't help that my anger was still lingering.
"But they didn't find it. I did. It's okay. No need to blast my ears off when Kristin is the one who needs it." He said.
"I love how you can just calm me down, and find a way I can use my anger or frustration." I said with a smile.
"That's why I'm here. But maybe..." He trailed off, mumbling something I couldn't here.
"Maybe what?"
"How about we teach Kristin a lesson?" He said with a evil smirk which made me fall in lo- WHAT. NO. TO FAST!!! FOCUS AVA.
"What lesson?" I said, trying to cover my 'freaking out' face.
"We pretend that there is somebody who stole her device, an∂ then freak her out." He said.
"You know what? Why not? She deserves it after not telling me about this, and not telling me she might be dating." I said.
"Wait Kristin is dating?" He asked.
"She might be. We can't deny the fact that she is incredibly pretty, so she probably won't have problems like the boy or girl doesn't likes her, but her liking them back."
"You thought way too much about this." He said.
"If I don't, who will?"
"Fair enough. Where is Kristin is anyway?" He asked.
"Oh, she went out to help her 'friend' with a party he is hosting." I said.
"Huh, did he just say "can you come over to help me?" There is no way that worked." He said
"Pretty sure he said the exact same thing." I say, confused at what he is going to.
"Wow. Ok. Uh, give me a moment. Ava, will you help me with my, uh hold on." He said while running towards something. Then I heard a crashing sound.
"Will you help me with my broken lamp?" He asked, which me giggle.
"Yes." I said, which made me realize that this sounds a lot like the phrasing of a proposal, except the part about of the broken lamp. Maybe I could have that one day.

In case you guys wanted to know, the whole story is at 17,000 words excluding the author notes. Even the whole parts with Author Notes. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED.
