Kristin Percxio/Kristin Parker
I left before the party ended to take Natasha home, which didn't let Ken finish his sentence.
Although I'm pretty sure what he was going to say...
Ugh, it's going to be so awkward at school. I have to get to school as early as possible to talk to him.
"KRISTIN COME HERE!!!" Ava yelled.
"COME WHERE??!" I yelled, not able to pin point where she is.
"TO MY ROOM DUMMY!!!" She yelled back.
I quickly go upstairs and open Ava's door, and she was looking out the window at something...
A mushroom cloud which was a color of scarlet red right at the edge of the city.
"What the hell is that?" I asked, trying not to panic.
"Well, seeing none of the humans panic at the sight, it's a spaceship explosion. And by judging the color of the cloud, its an older model."
"We should go there and help them!" I said, already prepared to run out of the house, but Ava grabbed my arm.
"That could be the enemy. I am tasked to protect you." She said.
"AND THAT COULD BE ANOTHER FALTOR SURVIVOR! WE HAVE A DUTY TO HELP THEM!" I yelled, frustrated. My parents used to always keep me away from everybody, to keep me safe. I am not going to let that repeat when there is somebody in danger.
She sighed. "Okay, but promise you will be behind me."
"I'm not going to put you in dange—" She interrupted me.
"Either that, or we aren't going." She said, crossing her arms.
I huffed, and agreed. We took Ava's car there, which would be faster than running there.
The ride took 5 minutes, but it felt like forever. We finally reached the spaceship, which was broken into pieces that could never be fixed. Or was that the intent?
A silhouette of a man appeared from the cloud. And he was pointing a gun at us, which made Ava immediately push me behind her, shielding me from any potential threat.
The gun, it looked familiar...
"That is the Protector of Eternal Sorrow, is it not?" I asked, pointing at the gun.
"It- it is. Yeah. How do you know about it?" Said the man, who sounded like he was around my age.
"I was forced to learn the history of the entire Galaxy. That was gifted to the Imperial Family of Voanerth, wasn't it? Are you from the Imperial Family?" I asked, as I got closer to the boy, which made Ava swear aggressively.
"N- No. I am their messenger, required to find Kristin Parker and help her. Do you know where she is?" He said, not looking particularly harmful.
Before I could answer, Ava intervened.
"What business do you have with her?" She asked with a confident voice. A voice of General.
"Nothing you need to know about unless you are either Ava or Kristin Parker." Said the boy while dusting himself off. I finally get a clear view of him.
He had broad shoulders, brown hair which was messy probably from the journey, and was quite tall. He would look like a man from his height, but I could tell that he was around my age, maybe a year older. And he was undoubtedly really good looking.
"Would you stop staring?" The boy yelled, which made me blush and look away. Ava then gave me a look that probably said "don't fraternize with the enemy!".
"What's your name?" I asked, looking him right in the eye to see if he was lying or not.
"None of your business." He said.
"Well Mr. "None of your business", I'm really sorry for your horrid name, but we can give you information in return for information." Ava said.
"Like what?" He said.
"Where Kristin Parker is." I said.
"How would you kno—"
"I will tell you after you tell us what your name is and why you are." I said, interrupting him, which didn't make him too happy.
He sighed, and then he began.
