John Williams/Tah-En-Sacri
I tried three times to contact the Empress. The first two times she ignored me. The third time she somehow blew up the Fesah-keh-annor, which was incredibly useful, since no one could track it, and was a priceless artifact.
I haven't visited Ava yet, so I don't know her condition. Although, the way Kristin has been avoiding me at school, tells me that she isn't progressing much.
"Dr. Williams, can we talk?" Kristin said, which made the class whisper to each other, which immediately made me grimace.
"Sure, after class?" I said, which made the whispering louder.
"Uh, what about after school?" She said, either ignoring the whispers, or she just can't hear them. I guess she is used to them now after her showing her... new look.
"Yeah, that sounds good." I said with a smile, the whispers growing even louder. I heard a particularly loud one.
"Are they in an affair?"
Humans confuse me so much.
—|Time skips to end of class|—
Kristin's friend, Natasha, dragged her away to who knows where, which told me that she might be late. So I decided to use my break to sit outside and think.
This is supposed to be helpful according to the humans.
How is it helpful by doing nothing?
"Its helpful for humans mate, and you ain't a human." Said the voice in my head, who I've come to know as Henry.
"Can you like, go away?" I thought, which he can read.
"Nope. My job is to report everything you are doing, and take care of you."
"How have you helped me?" I thought, pretty sure a smirk is on my face.
"I can read your thoughts, and emotions. And the emotions you have around that girl Ava are—" I interrupted him, not wanting to hear the rest.
But do I really feel something for Ava? Us aliens look down on humans, but if I liked one of them...
That would be the end of me.
"Henry! What have you been saying to him?!" Kim asked, another shadow, but something's changed.
They brought my subconsciousness to their planet. No, not their planet. Voanerth. The planet which could barely survive and filled with filth, looked clean. The citizens looked robotic, who were working.
I finally looked at myself.
I was short, maybe 8 years old? I was in my outfit I wore when I was the Baron's son.
"You brought him here?" Henry said, who was in control of someone's body, and had a worried expression.
"Yes, because if you listened, then you would know that the Empress called for him!" Kim said.
"Can we get on with this?" I asked, annoyed.
They both lead me to a castle, which was black with few intricate white designs which made it stand out. And there she was, in all her glory. The Empress herself, except...
Her eyes were pitch black.
"Welcome Tah-En-Sacri to my humble abode!" A shrill, but whispery at the same time, voice spoke. A voice that did not sound like the Empress.
"Who are you?"
"I am part of the Empress. Both of us work together to make lives better."
"These creatures are being controlled! Does it look like your helping them??!" I yell.
"Well, we are going to take care of our species first, and then others. How can we help them if we become extinct?" Scheme said with a smile, which looked anything other than happy.
"And how do you plan on doing that? Taking over everybody?"
"No darling, we take over some more minds, and then make ourselves a habitable planet."
"What planet is that?"
"A planet that we know the name of which you have find out. But that is not why you're here."
"Why am I here?"
"So that you get your memories back."
"What? What memori—"

A/N: His memories will be shown in a later chapter, but I'm telling you, it's really dramatic. Trust me. *wiggles eyebrows*
