Ava has been having 'conversations' with Dr. Williams, which I'm guessing is either how they move forward with their relationship or the fact that Ava and Dr. Williams are both aliens and may be the only fact that they are attracted to each other. Either way, that couple screams relationship problems. Both of them are keeping way too many secrets.

"Hey Ms. Popular, whatcha thinkin' bout?" Said a voice that suspiciously sounded like Ken.

"Aren't you supposed to be sick? That was the reason you weren't at school right?" I said.

"Oh my, Ms. Popular was worried about me?" He said with a weird high pitch voice.

"No. I wasn't."

"Hmm, yes you were."

"No I wasn't!"

"Yes you were!

"NO I WASN'T. Anyways, you were sick, right?" I said giving up, which made him smile.

"Looking at your face made me better." He said, smirking. I could tell that he was waiting for me to blush, since he probably used this line on countless girls, but I wasn't easy.

"So my face is the only good part about me? Not my voice? My personality?" I said with a dramatic voice. He clearly did not know that I was joking.

"NO! I mean..." He said, trailing off by looking dead in my eyes.

"Okay..." I said, getting uncomfortable with him staring at me. Why am I getting uncomfortable with him staring at me when the other student stare at me and its just annoying?

"My parents aren't home so I'm hosting a party today... Do you want to come?" He blurted out, interrupting my thoughts.

"Sure, I don't need to be at the house for today. When is it?" I said, which made him grin.

"Starts at 8, four hours from now, but can you help me setting things up?" He said with a shy smile. His expressions change so fast.

"Sure, don't know how I am going to be of help, but yeah, why not?" I said with a smile.

"Okay! My house is just couple blocks down over there. Come whenever you're ready." He said, and then he ran off to which I think is his house.

"I don't think I will ever understand human nature." I mumbled to myself, and then walked towards the house to drop off.

I walk inside and immediately spot Ava.

"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" She said in a tone I did not know how to describe.

"Ken's hosting a party, so he asked me to help him with the stuff." I said.

"Oh, is he that 'girl who tries to bully you but fails all the time' boyfriend?" she asked, which clearly meant that she listens to all my ranting.

"Ex-boyfriend. They broke up right when he saw me." I said, and then realized how weird that was.

"Ohhhh. So he is..." She mumbled, which I couldn't hear.

"Anyways, I'm gonna go now!" I yelled, ready to leave.

"Wait! Did he only ask you to help?" She yelled back.

"I think so. Why?" I said, walking back inside so we don't yell anymore and freak out our neighbors.

"Huh. Okay, be safe!" She said and pushed me out and slammed the door.
