"Stop touching things" I sighed while I sewed
"I'm only looking at them" Eric shrugged
"You almost pierced yourself with a pin" I pointed out
"Things happen" he puts down my thread box and sits beside me
Eric literally walked into my shop thirty minutes after I arrived and I would be lying if I said I wasn't surprised
But since he came, he's been touching.... everything
"Why aren't you at work again?" I turned to him
"I'm not feeling too well" he said
"That's a blatant lie, you'd work even if you were in the hospital" I folded my arms
He thought for a moment "true"
"So...?"
"I just came to see you, even though I usually don't cut of work to see anyone" he shrugged with one shoulder
"Awwn" I poke his cheek and he just chuckled inwardly
"Thanks for coming" I added
He didn't respond, he just drew closer to me and leaned in for a kiss...which I accepted
We pulled back and his phone stared ringing
He looked at it and placed it back in his pocket
"You're not picking up?" I asked
"No, it's not important"
I guess it's not
"Did your mum call about the news?"
"Yeah she did...she was wondering what relationship I have with Mina" he cleared his throat
"Thankfully it's over now" I said
"Yeah...not quite" his phone started Ringing again and he just ignores it
"Why don't you pick up" I suggested
"It's Theresa" I plainly said
Who?
"Miss Theresa? Why's she calling you?"
"Well....she also saw the new and immediately she did, she took a flight back here from Singapore" he explained
"Again, why?"
"She thinks it's a bad idea leaving me alone when there are 'snakes' lurking around" he rolled his eyes
"So what does she want now?"
I know I should slow down on the questions, but this is Theresa Romano we're talking about, she's almost obsessed with Eric, she wouldn't leave him for anyone
Especially not for me
"I don't know, she just keeps calling like her life depends on...." He's phone goes off again
"You should probably just talk to her, maybe she just wants to find out if everything's okay now" hopefully
He shakes his head "that's not what she wants"
I itched the back of my neck before asking "Eric.... nothing bad would happen, right?"
When other women want him, I don't even need to be worried....but when Theresa Romano wants him....I can't help but feel worried
He takes my hand "I'm not going back to Theresa for anything in the world, you can trust me on that"
I squeeze his hand slightly to assure him that I trusted him, but I had a very bad feeling.....I would just shake it off, but we all know that Theresa Romano and Barbara Martinez won't sit still and allow me be with Eric
I'm trying to believe it's possible, but then again we know it's not

"Eric left already?" Sophia asked, taking a sit beside me
"Yeah he had to get back to work"
"Oh alright....so how was your time together?" She wiggled her brows and I just rolled my eyes
"Oh come on, say something"
"It was normal, what's there to say" I get up and walk to the shelf to get some stones for the dress I was sewing... Chloe's was on stand by for now
"Courtney" I heard Sophia walking up behind me "you don't seem okay. What happened?"
I take down the box and let out a sigh "it's nothing really" I walk back to my seat
"Yeah of course it's nothing... it's always nothing" she said
I caved and asked "do you think Eric and I would last?"
She frowned her brows and said "why would you ask something like that?"
"Theresa's back" I told her
"So?"
"She's Barbara Martinez's dream daughter in law, Sophia I feel all hell would let when they find out that I'm with Eric" I'm very scared if I'm being totally honest
"Wait I don't understand, why's it a problem when you're happy... why do you always let something bother you?"
"Sophia..."
"Eric loves you" she cuts me off "you understand?...you, why don't you just forget everything else and be happy for once, if anything wants to happen..then trust me it'll happen, you can't change what's going to happen, so I advise you enjoy your relationship and trust that everything will be fine"
I chew on my bottom lip a little "you're right, that's Sophy"
She hugs me from behind "enjoy your relationship and screw the haters"
I chuckled and got back to sewing
Enjoy my relationship, that seems like a solid plan
