The movie was amazing!

It was a rom-com and I love those. I and Gloria seemed to be the only ones interested in the movie, both the guys were on their phones

Eric just seemed engrossed in scrolling through his phone that he didn't notice anything else

I'm not rude or anything like that, but they do say that curiosity kills the cat and I was that cat

I leaned sideways a little bit, not to draw attention of course. Without moving my head, I moved my gaze to his phone and he was scrolling through Instagram

He stopped at a particular picture of a girl

The corner if his lips tugged up into a smirk and he liked the picture

She was soooo beautiful, her black hair fell beautifully on her shoulder

I felt a little gauge at the pit of my stomach

Wait a minute, jealousy?

I scoff inwardly, of course not

He tapped into her ig page

Why's he there?

I wanted to sit back straight and pay attention to the movie but i felt Daniel push me with his elbow and I leaned in more onto Eric which caught his attention

He looked at me surprisingly but I quickly sat straight and lowered my head. I turned to Daniel and he had a smile on his face as he scrolled through his phone

I nudged him with my elbow and he chuckled

"You know" I heard Eric's whisper and I turned to him

"If you wanted to lean on me, you could have just asked" a smirk was on his face

"Jesus christ" I whispered and covered my face with my hands

I heard Eric's light chuckles and I could feel the fire flies again

Why the hell am I acting like a teenager?

"Are you guys even paying atention?" Gloria asked

"You know I hate rom-coms" Eric said

"And I hate romance movies" Daniel added

"Romance movies aren't bad" I said

"He doesn't know anything, don't even bother" Gloria muttered

She and I went back to the movie and the guys back to their phones

........

"That was horrible" Daniel said as we walked out the theater

"I regret letting you pick the movie" Eric said to Gloria

"Please Courtney love, tell them how good that movie was"

"The movie was really nice, I don't know what the problem is" I told them

We strolled out of the cinema

"So...what now?" Daniel tucked his hands in his jacket pockets

"Well....we could all go home for starters. I have a lot of work to do, i have a meeting with Mr Lawson in a few days and....."

"Stoopppp, God please don't talk about work" Gloria yells at him

He rolls his eyes

"But hey since we're here together, let's talk about something more interesting" Gloria wiggle her brows

Eric turned to her "don't" he firmly said

"Courtney darling..." he cuts her off

"Gloria I'm serious, stop it" he had a grim expression
