After a lot of mind battling and a lot of convincing, I finally decided that I was going to go see Eric even though that's like a bunny hopping into the lion's den

I woke up around past 10 or so and it's currently 11 so I was just doing a little prepping to walk straight into the lion's den

Okay I may be over exaggerating

But I may not be

I finished eating a while ago with Sophia and she wasn't home at the moment, she went grocery shopping while I was seated in my room trying to figure out what to wear

I ended up putting on a white crop t-shirt and light blue jeans paired with sandals. I packed my hair up in a ponytail and put on some perfume. I told him I would be coming in a bit and he insisted on sending someone to pick me up...but I told him I didn't necessarily need that

I picked up my purse, my phone and my house key before stepping out

I was literally standing outside Martinez Constructions....Martinez

People past by me going in and out of the company while I stood glued to one spot. After a little while, I let out a deep breath and I walked into the the lion's den.....I mean the company

It was huge...huge

And not just huge but beautiful, it looked good on television but never this good...like damn

"Excuse me" I hear someone say

I didn't even realize I was already walking in

"Sorry good morning, um I'm Courtney Jones and please I would like to see Mr Martinez... Eric Martinez" I had to be precise

"Mr Martinez" she repeated and I nodded. She then looked and me from my head to my waist region which was all she could see from her post

"Are you sure?" She asked

I frowned my brows "why wouldn't I be?"

"My dear I don't think you can see Mr Martinez, he's very busy at the moment. Do you have an appointment?" She asked

"No but...."

She cuts me off "then I'm sorry you can't see him"

"Can you just...."

She cuts me off again "leave"

"But why don't you just...."

And again "do you want me to call the security

I would just call Eric but reasons like these were exactly why I never wanted to come here to begin with

"Get out or I'll call the security"

"You're extremely rude" I tell her

"Excuse you?"

"What's going on" I turn around to see Jeffrey

"Courtney?" He walks towards me

"Hey" I said

"What's going on?" He asked again

"She just walked in here asking to see Mr Martinez" the very rude reception said

"Eric asked me to come over, I really didn't want to" I tell him

"Wait you know her Jeff?" She asked

"She's my friend and why were you being rude to her, I could hear your voice on my way down from the stairs" he seemed a little bit upset
