" I hope I never loose you, hope it never ends. I'd never walk Cornelia Street again. "
London was always packed whenever James and Keira went there, night or day the city was full of tourists. The two spent a lot of time walking around London hand in hand, exploring more parts of it each time they went.
"Wait, we're in Westminster." James stopped the two from walking, the two on a lonely street only a few other people were on.
"Yeah?" Keira asked confused as to why Westminster was so important.
"The Ministry is around here," He grinned at her, "We should go check it out!" He wrapped his arm around Keira's shoulder and pulled her along with him, assumingly to where the Ministry of Magic was.
"Why do you want to go?" Keira giggled at his enthusiasm.
"Well, there's no harm in checking out where you're going to work when you're older, is there?" He looked down at her who nodded.
"I guess there isn't," Keira agreed.
"Especially since you're going to be running the place."
"James, you know I probably won't be the Minister." Keira shook her head adoringly at James, appreciative of his support of her career.
He shook his head, "Don't limit yourself, Keira."
Soon, the two made it to the Ministry, people rushed past them going in and out of the underground building. Keira looked around admiring the architecture, not knowing that James was watching her.
"Like it?" He asked, Keira turned around to him with a big smile on her face.
"Love it."
They then explored the place more, going in the lifts to different floors and different departments. Once they reached the second floor, they walked to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement where people were all over the place working hard.
"Appointment?" A middle aged woman stood in front of them, looking quite stern.
"Sorry?" James asked, confused.
"Do you have an appointment? If you don't you two need to leave, only employees are allowed here." The woman stood with her hand on her hips. James and Keira looked at each other.
"We don't, sorry, we'll go." Keira put on a big customer-service styled smile as she grabbed hold of James' arm and turned them both around, going to the corridor they just walked down leading back to the lifts, laughing at the situation.
. . .
"I'm definitely living on this street when I'm older." Keira said, admiring the street of town houses and apartments.
"When we're older." James said.
"Oh of course." Keira smiled kissing James' cheek, "But this street is so pretty."
"Wilton Crescent." James read the street name off of the street sign, "I definitely could imagine us living here." He looked out at the road of London townhouses.
Keira smiled to herself, taking in the moment she was sharing with James right then, knowing that this was a memory that she would look back on, probably sat in one of those houses on the street they stood in, reminiscing on her when she was younger.
Keira knew that whenever she went to London she would think of James, she had already associated the city with her boyfriend and the day trips they would take during the summer of 1977.
However, she found that by the end of the summer and after all the times her and James visited Wilton Crescent, that the neighbourhood just a 15 minute drive from the Ministry of Magic would hold a lot of memories of the two, everytime she thought of the view of houses, she thought of James. It was as if the crescent had his name engraved into it.
Keira also knew that if there was any chance that her and James were no longer together - a thought she found hard to even imagine, knowing full heartedly that she would spend the rest of her life with her boyfriend - she would never be able to walk down that very street they said they would spend their lives together in.
(A/N: a bit of a short one, but it's just a filler chapter since I REALLY wanted to incorporate this song into the playlist! also, we've reached the end of act I!!!!)
