" Move out the way, I'm with my girls and we all need space. "

Keira sat in her boss' office, she had been called in that morning once she arrived at her desk, ready to get on with her work. Her boss was nice, they got along well, but were only professional with each other, he wasn't he type of boss you would have a casual conversation with.

"As you know, your internship is coming to an end," Her boss started, "The head of department has told me I can only keep two people out of the five interns I have. Luckily for you, I've chosen you to be part of the two that I keep."

Keira nodded, smiling, "Will I be doing the same work I am now?"

"Well, this will be a promotion, so you'll have more responsibility. In terms of titles, you'll be second to myself and all the other heads of Foreign Affairs. This means that when I and my colleagues are on trips, you'll be in charge, you will also have some travelling to other countries, too." Her boss explained, "Are you will to take the job?"

"Yes, I'll take it." Keira said quickly.

"Good, I'll ket you know more details. Congratulations." Her boss said, implying that it was the end of their conversation.

"Thank you, sir." Keira shook his hand before leaving his office.

. . .

Soon, Keira's friends were told about her promotion and quickly, a girls night was planned for Friday night.

"Keira!" Marlene sang as her, Mary, Lily, and Josie entered Keira's flat.

"In my room!" Keira called, the four soon walked in, seeing Keira at her dressing table, finishing off her makeup.

"I'm so excited, I've never been to a muggle club." Lily smiled, sitting on the bed.

"Really? Never?" Keira asked.

"Not all of us got fake ID's when we were home for the holidays, K." Lily laughed.

"Fair enough." Keira shrugged.

"Alright, I want to get wasted tonight, lets go." Marlene stood at the door impatiently.

"Okay, calm your tits, Marls." Josie laughed, putting an arm around Marlene's shoulders as they left the bedroom.

After a bit more of the other three applying lipgloss and fluffing their hair, the group left the flat and walked down the busy roads of London to the night club they'd decided on going to from Arabella's recommendation. There was a line outside the club with a bouncer letting in a couple every few minutes.

"Oh, come on, can this line not go any faster?" Marlene complained.

"We're British, Marlene, we're meant to like queues." Keira said, leaning against the brick wall beside her.

"Hold on." Lily said before leaving the line and going to the bouncer. The four girls watched in surprised and amazement as Lily flirted with the man, they'd never seen Lily act that way before, if anyone were to do that they all would've guessed either Marlene or Keira, not Lily.

She smiled as she walked back to her friends, "Come on then." She said, leading them into the club, winking at the bouncer as they walked past him.

"Lily, you're a married woman!" Josie laughed over the loud music.

"Well he doesn't know that." Lily shrugged as they went to the bar, ordering their drinks.

They spent their night dancing, drinking, and drunkenly laughing with each other. Keira, Josie, and Lily had just left the dance floor, going to an empty booth where they rested.

"You don't know how glad I am to have a night away from James." Lily sighed, slouching against the booth she was sat in.

"How come?" Josie asked.

"He's just been extra clingy lately- I mean, I love him, but a woman needs her space!" Lily laughed, the other two joining her.

"Been there." Keira joked. She didn't think about her actually saying that, if she were sober she wouldn't have, but it just sort of came out. Lily's laugh went quieter when she said that, instead just letting out a little giggle. The topic of James and Keira's relationship had become a touch topic for all three of them, all of them having their different opinions and feelings on it.

"Oh my god," Josie said, the two looking at he confused until she saw where her finger pointed, "What the fuck is happening?" Josie asked as the three watched Mary and Marlene make out on the dance floor.

"Wow." Keira breathed out, surprised to see them two together.

"I mean, we all knew they like girls, but not each other." Josie said as she looked back at her friends sat with her.

"Maybe it's just a spur-of-the-moment thing?" Keira said.

"Or maybe they like each other." Lily rebutted.

. . .

The next morning, all the girls woke up at Keira's flat, all of them dotted around. Keira and Josie slept on top of her bed as the other three were in the living room on the sofa and chairs. But, Mary, Marlene, and Lily woke up from the opening and closing of the front door.

"Shh." Marlene grumbled, opening one eye to see Bradley walking into the kitchen.

"Sorry." He said too loudly for the girls' liking since Marlene got up, her blanket wrapped around her as she walked into Keira's bedroom and laying ont he bed with her and Josie.

"The man is here." She grumbled.

Keira yawned, seeing the time was 9AM, confused as to why Bradley was here. But, that was soon explained as he stood int he doorway of her room.

"Sorry, I left one of my folders here and I need it today." He whispered, Keira gave him a thumbs up as she closed her eyes again, letting him look around her room, "See you later." Bradley said, giving Keira a kiss on the cheek to which a big smile spread across her face.

"Be quiet." Marlene complained into a pillow.

"All we did was kiss, Marls." Keira looked at her friend with squinted eyes.

"You kiss too loudly." Marlene replied. Bradley laughed to himself before letting himself out of the flat, leaving the girls to recover together from their hangovers for the rest of the day until he got back to the flat after work.
