Popping the Thought Bubble

I was just thinking the other day: the thing about being a Pakistani TV drama actor is, you want to enter the movies, then when you want enter the film industry, you want to break into Bollywood, and after Bollywood you want to crack Hollywood, but Hollywood is forever moping about the fact that it can't make a James Bond film. A random thought, but it entertained me while I thought it, so I think it was worthwhile, but that thought is from my brain, too, so I can't really tell. (Just kidding. I can totally tell that it was worthwhile while it lasted, but if I spend any more brainpower on it, that time clocks in on the wasted time meter.)

I only get my toes wet in the sea of philosophy, because it's too much thinking about thinking without thinking about doing. The type of thinking about thinking that appeals to me is psychology. As I have not actually studied a textbook of either field, I am not qualified to comment on them on any lofty platform, but this is Wattpad, so I'm free to prattle away. (Aww, Wattpad, did you feel the burn? I'm kind of sorry. Here's a cookie. I'm addicted to you, Wattpad. Does that feel better now?)

When I was a teenager (alarm bells! alarm bells! iqrawrites, you're not a teenager?! Yeah, if you'd read my Wattpad bio you'd know) I used to call any intellectual among my friends a "philosopher". Then I switched to calling them "intellectual". Now I just like their pithy status updates without calling them anything. Facebook: taking the frills out of socialization, and replacing it with loads of white space. Really, take a good look at all the white space on your Facebook page the next time you load it from a big screen. On your mobile device, Facebook tends to be a bit squished together.

What do you think about philosophy? It's psychology's turn in the next chapter.
