I have some interesting reads lined up on my ebook apps (iBooks, Kindle and Kobo, to be precise). I won't list them all but you can have some idea from the cover photo collage. You'll see that Dr.Michio Kaku's "The Future of the Mind" has the most real estate on that photo. That's because it's the only book on my Kindle app. No kidding. It's the first book I got from the Kindle store, so it's kind of a breakthrough for me. The first book I got from Kobo was because they gave me $5 off. It's "The Sealed Nectar" (a biography of the Prophet, peace be upon him). iBooks has the most impulse buys, because that was when I dedicated some gift money to the App Store and went on an ebook buying spree. (My father disconnected the credit card from the account after that. True story.)
"The Sealed Nectar" is my Ramadan reading project. It's more of an emotional journey because I want to form a deeper connection with our Prophet, peace be upon him. I have the ebook version of English "Maariful Quran" by Mufti Taqi Usmani (an explanation of the Quran) for serious Ramadan reading (it's free to read on Scribd). (For the record, I'm not reading the explanation independently. I follow Quran instructor audio explanation first, then I read up on the explained verses later.)
Do you have any Ramadan reading planned? Or do you prefer to listen to or watch something instead?
