With the last ten days of Ramadan quickly approaching, it's time to stop kidding myself and move into the serious zone.
Of course, this is the time Baba would choose to go on a road trip. It's office-related, and we're going along. Family fun, yes, but the last ten days are usually associated with cosying up in a corner with the Quran whenever we get the time.
No worries! I have the full, bookmarked, audio-playable Quran in my gadgets (if you're curious, it's "Quran Explorer" in the app store). Now it's up to me how much I will actually use it.
Like Inaya (Inaya who? You should not be asking that question) I have bookmarked some audio to listen to. I hope I will be able to derive maximum benefit from it.
Abu Productive over at Productive Muslim posted a photo of a kids' "itekaf tent" on his Facebook. Charming, but it shouldn't be for kids only. We young adults have to form mental tents around ourselves if we need to get anything done. A physical one would help, but we have to make do with imaginary ones.
Are you ready for the last ten days of Ramadan?
