I was going through the latest posts on Infinite Ink and I find it funny how I write all over the place. Each chapter is going off in multiple directions at once, and if you compare different chapters to each other, then the difference in direction is even more apparent. If this was a connect-the-dots drawing, the final result would be a spiral with tangents going off from it. Or something like that. Hey, it's clear in my head. Look into my head and you will see the spiral. You know I'm kidding, right? About the looking into my head part. Not the spiral part. The spiral is serious.
Anyway, I have this Darussalam Publishers book called "Enjoy Your Life", by Dr. Muhammad Al Arifi. It has real stories from the life of the Prophet s.a.w. They are described in the context of a particular lesson, and all the lessons are geared towards interpersonal relationship skills, self esteem and self development. It sounds straightforward but really, it's heartwarming and inspiring at the same time. Also, it really makes me love the Prophet s.a.w.! After all, to know him is to love him. It's really embarrassing how little we know him. Well, books like these are here to correct that.
The supplications of morning and evening are super duper awesome-uber! Of course they are, since they are Sunnah. It's a complete care package for your day. Once you get into the habit, you get going and recite the supplications regularly. Then it's a real pity to lose out on them.
Aaand... What else? Turns out people on Wattpad are people around me, or people around me are on Wattpad, I only discover people individually. It's a nice surprise every time. Like someone rightly said, "The whole Ummah is on Wattpad". Sure feels like it.
I know, I know, I have to update Leena's story "Pens of Fate". Give me until the weekend?
What are you writing, by the way? Or thinking of writing nowadays. I'd like to know.
