I finally got "From My Sisters' Lips" by Na'ima B Robert. It's a beautiful non fiction book about the journey of women towards Islam and how they live Islam. I am also going to reread her newest book of poetry, "Catch Me", which is available through Sisters Awakening Press.
Nowadays whenever I put my earphones into my ears, I find myself taking them out and testing as to whether the sound is audible beyond the earphones or not once the audio is playing.
I am treating myself with book therapy. I got a bunch of physical books as well as ebooks, all Islamic non fiction. It was a good treat to receive them/download them. Looking forward to reading them.
After thrashing around like a fish out of water for many years, I have finally found direction after realizing that I have to begin by getting to know Allah. So, onward and forward to learning the names of Allah. There's a beautiful compilation of resources on www.creative-motivations.com
