"A late night preoccupation with aliveness – a sense that the deepest part of the night, or the earliest part of the morning, is the most awake part of the day. When your senses are heightened to such a degree that the very air is full of rough crystals grating your lungs and the compulsion to draw breath is so deliberate you wonder how you manage to do it all day without ever thinking about it."

The writer of the above words is not a Muslim, yet she captures perfectly the early-morning/late-night sensation of being awake at Tahajjud time. Just think for a moment how much more wonderful it would be to live Tahajjud!
Well, if you aren't availing the chance to pray Tahajjud in Ramadan (because you're awake at that time ANYWAY) you're being very silly. Don't be silly. Be smart. Live Tahajjud!
I wonder if I could get a #TahajjudTales hashtag going. Kidding! It's more important to have it in your heart than in a hashtag.
That said, what's your Tahajjud Tale?
