You taught me the true meaning of be careful of what you wish for.

Because what you wish can make you sore

I wish for you to be happy, to be ok

You wished to just end your pain

The urge to call you that I ignored

The car that hit, in the air you soared

Infront of your girl and your friend

There is where your life would end

I was at my nephew's birthday party out of state

So two more days to hear about it I would wait

In the middle of the party I would hear

One thing came true one thing that held my fear

You are no longer here

I love you though, with all my heart

Even when we're far apart

So wait for me through the years

Watch over me through my tears

I'll join you in the end

You were always my greatest friend

So much so we called eachother family
