The alarm sounds
Beep beep beep
Sluggishly waking up and going about the day
Feet slapping as I walk towards the coffee maker
A sizzle fills the air as the aroma of sweet roasted beans travels the room
The quiet ticking of the clock on the bathroom door
As I brush my teeth with the biting cold of mint toothpaste
Getting dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans
A soft ding echos through the barren halls as the bitter sweet nectar finishes brewing
Making my way across the room, only stopping to slip on my shoes
I make my way out the door keys and coffee in hand
Only to tumble back in a few hours later
Shuffling through my earlier actions in reverse
To sink into the cloud I call a bed just until I hear that
Beep beep beep
Again
