Why does one yearn for something they've never had?
The aching inside burns so bad.
I'd like a good parent, that'd be rad!
A family
A friend
A lover
A win
Even when we've never had it, we crave it!
Hell,
Even when we didn't have it we gave it!
Love
Attention
Happiness
A vision
We deal with the pain, a bitter affliction.
We're just wanting somebody to not just listen, but care.
That kind of person now days is kinda rare.
Agony will flicker across our eyes,
As the parent we made in our minds sky, dies.
I wonder if everyone wonders why.
