But what left her even more shocked was when the guest pitcher himself, the known ruthless billionaire Hayes Gr...

October 31st, Halloween.
Today I officially made it a little over half way through my pregnancy. Yet the gender of our baby is a mystery, it annoyed Hayes. But I decided that the surprise for now is fun.
But he seemed uneasy since we'd returned from Paris. He's told me that nothings wrong, but I wonder if I took it too far with his grandma.
"Lily?" He turns to see me in bed tear stricken. Worried he sits at the foot waiting for me to appeal to what's wrong, "Is everything okay?"
I knew bearing around the bush wasn't the answer, "You tell me Hayes, I feel like something's wrong. Past few weeks you just seem I don't know more quiet and just worried" My eyes blubber as I speak, I didn't have time to be embarrassed. Because I was too upset of distance and his weird behavior. Something was bothering him, it was evident.
"I've been trying to drown myself with work and just block it out but obviously something's wrong" I feel something paw at my leg and Frito sat looking at me worried.
I felt the tears leak from my eyes and then I felt Hayes's arms wrap around me. He runs his fingers through my hair trying to calm me down. But I can't help it, I'm emotional.
"Lily, your right I've been kind of distant lately and it's not purposeful. I've been dealing with something that I didn't want to alarm you with."
"We are married Hayes, even if I'm just your girlfriend, we are in a relationship. You can't just keep things from me and ignore me and think it'll just go away. This is a partnership, you should tell me if something's wrong?" I turn to face him as he squeezes my hands.
He looked almost scared, as if what he has to say was fatal. He glances down at Frito whose patiently waiting to be brought up to the bed. So he bends down taking him into his arms. Maybe it's good that he holds Frito, because usually dogs tended to act as a calming factor.
Frito inches away from his lap slightly and nuzzled his head against my stomach, "My good boy" I whisper as he wags his tail.
"For months I've had a couple people on a case for me. My top PI Tyson was on it, still is" He pauses swallowing an evident lump that's formed in his throat.
"A case? Are you suing somebody?" He shakes his head, "Actually it's for safety Lily" With this I'm only left more lost, what was unsafe?
"What?"
"You have a stalker Lily, and in Paris I saw him watching us on the scooter. He's been following you a lot, that's why you have your security team always distantly behind" My stomach churned from his words and I almost feel sick. He could see the alarm in my face. Because it wasn't me I was scared for, it was our child.
"Who? What do they want from me?" He sits up slightly sighing, "That guy Colin Gales, he follows you when he can. I don't know how he knew we were in Paris but-"
