These past few weeks Hayes seemed more anxious than usual. Something had evidently been bothering him, I thought maybe it was because we still hadn't really told anybody about my pregnancy.

As I slowly open my eyes, I stare down as his hands were wrapped tightly around my breast as his face was nuzzled into my neck while he slept. I almost wanted to laugh, but something hung heavy in the air. Ever since a few days after our last scan and the worry of Colin. There was something going on that Hayes wasn't telling me.

As my phone buzzed and I reached for it in this position. I almost drop the phone as I lift it and then I see the notification.

Alisha: You and me, we are getting lunch today... I feel like I'm about to pop and we haven't hung out.

It was August 26th, hot and stuffy and Alisha was just a few weeks from her due date.

Lily: Deal, what time?

Alisha: I'll pick you up at 12.

I slowly slipped out from Hayes's grip and I found myself rushing to the bathroom as my knees hit the tile floor. Then hunched over the toilet letting whatever was left in my stomach out.

But within a matter of seconds, I felt two hands against my shoulders and then my hair being pulled back.

"Hayes" I grumble.

"Shhh" Before I could argue my face was back into the toilet bowl. I groan in agony as I sit here uncomfortably.

Soon I'm able to stand and Hayes hands me a bottle of water to rinse my mouth and a napkin for my lips.

"I have to go see Alisha today" I sigh and I stared down at my small blossoming bump "I think she might notice if I sit a certain way" I almost laugh at the thought of it, I wonder what she'd say.

"Maybe we should start telling people, you are fifteen weeks Princess" I know it was a long time to wait to tell people. But I was worried, I just felt like keeping it to myself would protect me longer for some reason.

Hayes begins to brush his teeth and I stand behind him wrapping my arms around his back planting a small kiss against it.

"Eventually, but nobody's really checked in on me you know? My siblings haven't called, my mothers been MIA?" He turns back to me and nods, he knew I was hurt. Because even when I was reaching out, contact was minimal.

It's like dad was the glue to our family.

"But if you don't tell them the bump will"

"What about your parents?" He shakes his head instantly in response.

"My parents will have nothing to do with our child's life, I don't even want them to meet them. We live separate lives Lily, they were involved with the wedding and that's all."
