8) Nurse Visit Gone Wrong

"We weren't able to find her," Ran grumbled, leaning against the wall. Rin hummed from the opposite wall. The Haitani brothers were in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. The roof isn't even attached, and the walls were covered with vegetation.

"Did that bastard give us the wrong address?" Ran gritted his teeth, crumbling the paper in his hand.

"No, I checked the book before he put it away," Rin confirmed, tossing his phone. "Took a picture too."

Ran glanced at the screen, a sadistic grin crossing his features. "It must be her mom, then." A hand over his eyes, leaning his head back, Ran laughed. He dragged it down to his mouth, his eyes wide. "I'm going to kill that bitch."

So far, it's going good, Y/n thought, making her way through the halls. I've yet to see the brothers, though. You glanced around, a few students flinching, avoiding your gaze. You sighed; guess word got around.

"So, you're the famous-monstrous-transfer student," a female student asked, her hand crossed over her chest.

"That's some label, but yes, that's me." You bowed slightly, "Y/n L/n, transfer student, how may I help you?"

She raised an elegant brow, "You seem too polite to have picked a fight." She eyed you up and down, relaxing slightly.

You shrugged, "The girl was at fault. It's a long story, but if you want, I can tell you. Later, though, class is about to start," you added. Her ruby-red eyes looked you over again. "Alright, I'll see you in your class during lunch." She walked past, her black hair flowing behind her. And just like that, you went your separate ways.

You stopped short. Wait, how does she know which class I'm in?

A sudden yelp snapped you out of your thoughts. It took you a second to realize that someone was drenched in water. Another second, to realize that it was none other than Ran.

He fingered a wet braid and then tugged at his wet uniform. "I guess I'm wet now."

"You guess?" Y/n couldn't help chuckling as both turned to you. You sighed as you pushed past them. Lila was sitting on one of the desks, her two friends on either side of her. Lila had gone white with shock but snapped out of it when you approached.

You looked her in the eye, getting awfully close. "That was for me, wasn't it?" She gulped and glanced away. "N-no."

"Pft." Y/n chuckled━a hand over her mouth━ e/c eyes, narrowing teasingly, as you stepped back. "And now my so-called "best friend" is lying~," you asked, a finger under her chin. "If I wasn't injured right now, I'd beat the shit out of you, bitch," you said in a low voice.

Her eyes flashed with fear. She trembled as you fingered a few strands of her black-blue hair. "You've, been warned, Lila. I suggest you head it. Unless, of course, you wanna go?" Your eyes flashed in warning, "Right here, right now."

"I-I should get to my class," she stuttered. You smiled, "Of course. We wouldn't want you to be late, right~" you cooed, flicking the strands.

"H-hai!"

You watched her rush out of the room, her friends right behind her. Akari shot you a glare, her lips twisted in a pout. You waved with a close-eyed smile, a hand resting on your hip.

It dropped almost immediately as you turned away.

"Sir, can we be dismissed? I'll take Ran to the infirmary to see if they have an extra uniform." The teacher nodded in a daze. "R-right, go ahead," he said, waving you off.
