"Oh my~" Miko chuckles behind her fan as she walks closer. She closes the fan and bends over Kisaki, lifting his chin. The boy blushed softly as her lidded eyes watched him. "Why would we need a nobody to do that?" A crooked smile graced his features as he tried to keep his composure. "I have many ways, and I want to bring Miss. Mizuki's gang to the top," he replied.
"What will you gain from doing that?" Miko asked.
"There's no real reason. I've long admired her drive and wish to be of assistance."
"Aw~ a little fanboy," she cooed. "How annoying." She flicks his chin with the fan and walks beside Kiyoko's seat and snaps her fan open. The room darkened after that comment as Miko glared coldly at the duo. "You really think you could come in and expect to be welcomed?"
"Of course not," Kisaki answered, lacing his fingers together as he turned to Kiyoko, who had stayed quiet. "We're prepared to prove ourselves," he declared, leaning forward.
"Denied." They both blinked, eyes widening in surprise as she fixed them with a blank expression. "If that is all, I'll be leaving now," she said, rising from the couch. "W-wait, what?!" Kisaki exclaimed, also getting up. Kiyoko didn't bother turning as she walked away. "I simply came to hear you out, not to agree with anything you say."
"Hey, hey, now." Hanma chided, getting up as he followed Kiyoko. "Don't be like that, Kiyo~" She stopped just shy of the door.
She gave him a cold glare, expression almost blank. "You don't get to call me that," she said, a warning in her tone. Hanma chuckled as he grabbed her wrist, tugging her away from the door. "Hear my man out."
"Release me, Hanma," she gritted, her eyes narrowing.
"Don't wanna~" Her expression darkened as Miko moved, metal glinting from the end of the closed fan. The door suddenly opened, and a guy walked in. A carefree smile on his lips but his presence demanded attention. He had short maroon hair, and captivating red eyes. He wore a simple white button-up shirt with a black turtle-neck underneath and black pants. But what caught the eye was the red tassel earring that faded towards the end.
A replica of the one that hung from Kiyoko's hat.
"Kiyo, sorry I'm late," he said, his voice deep and soft as he closed the door. He paused, glancing at Hanma's hand around her wrist. His expression darkened as he grabbed his arm.
"Hey man, back off," he stated, squeezing, causing Hanma to release his hold on her. He smiled as he held his arm. "Give me a good reason not to break your arm, right now?" Hanma gritted his teeth, trying to pull away. The hell is he made of!?
"Kiyo, just give the word. I'll dispose of these two for you." Hanma scoffed as he glared at Kiyoko. "Ha, you already got another toy to do your bidding?" He grinned as she looked down. He added, "What a slut," and the room shifted.
Kiyoko's eyes dilated as the newcomer's eyes widened ever so slightly. Rage flared in him as he gritted his teeth. He let go and grabbed Hanma's neck, banging his head against the tile. "Argh!" Blood started to trickle from Hanma's head as red eyes glared coldly. He was over Hanma, his hand still around his neck, a knee digging into his stomach, and the heel of his boot pressed into Hanma's arm.
"Kiyo, your word," he asked, voice as smooth as silk, with an edge. She composed herself as she stepped away. "Throw them out," she ordered quietly and left. The guy never turned around and stared in thought before getting up. His foot against Hanma's stomach kept him down.
"Get out, Tetta Kisaki. You are no longer welcome." With that said, he walked out, with Hanma, dragging him by the collar. He threw the guy out on the steps. Back in the room Kisaki wasn't done, but Miko wouldn't budge. "Just let me talk to her," he grits, eyes narrowing. Miko smiles behind her fan, a shadow over her eyes.
A sudden scream drew the male's eyes as Kisaki was thrown from the window, Miko watching with a satisfied smile. He smiles and leaves the two guys withering on the ground and went to search for Kiyoko. He found her already working again. "Kiyo?"
"I'm fine. I just need to be alone for a moment." When he made no move to leave, she added quietly. "Please, Akio."
He smiled when he heard his name on her lips. Akio stepped closer to the desk, his tassel swaying slowly. He grabbed her hand that was propped against her head. She flinched, caught off guard from the sudden contact. Time slowed as he stared at her and affectionately kissed her knuckles, causing her to blush.
"No can do, boss!" he chirped, making her dead-pan, the moment disappearing. "Come on, Kiyo~ I wanna see you smile," he beamed, leaning forward as stars twinkled around him. His demeanor changed to that of a child.
He grabbed her cheeks and stretched them so that she was grinning awkwardly. He chuckled as she swatted his hand away. "Why do you do this, Akio?" She frowned, annoyed. He grabbed her hand in both of his as he gave her a close-eyed smile.
"Because I love you."
Her eyes widened; cheeks flushed as he continued to smile. "But why? There's nothing good about me," she said quietly.
"Ah, ah, ah," he chided, and shook his head as he grew serious. "You're wrong," he added affectionately.
She pouted, slightly as she looked away. "Liar."
"I'm not. I love everything about you, Kiyo," he answered softly. "And I would never trade anything for it," he finished by pecking her hand again. She blushed at his tenderness, eyes softening. "Thank you, Akio."
"Does that mean I get a kiss?" he chirped, giving her puppy dog eyes as she dead-panned. How did I fall for this bipolar guy? She smiled as she let out a breath. But it's cute, she thought as she watched him continue to ask. Kiyoko leaned over the desk and pecked his forehead, catching him off guard.
Akio smirked as he grabbed her waist and pulled her over the table. "A-Akio!?" He gave her a close-eyed smile as she leaned away, her hands against his chest, his arms on either side of her as she sat on the desk. "Ah, but Kiyo~" He leaned into her ear. "That wasn't a real kiss," he whispered.
He moved back as he beamed at her, pointing to his lips. "Come on━come on, give me a kiss!" She blushed and quickly pecked his lips, eyes squeezed shut. Before she could pull away, he grabbed her cheek and deepened the kiss.
Akio pulled away, a soft blush on his cheeks as he stared lovingly at her. "I love you, Kiyoko." She held his hand over her cheek, leaning into it as she closed her eyes.
"I love you too, Akio."
The door burst open with a bang, startling the two. Ran stood there with his brother, smiling. "Stop the lovey-doveyness and help us, Kiyoko!" Rin glowered; hand flat against the door. Akio awkwardly chuckled. Kiyoko held the bridge of her nose, shaking her head as her other hand clasped the book on her desk. She flung it at the brothers, startling them.
They went white under her murderous glare, her beautiful face almost stoic and, that made it all the more unnerving. "You are very lucky this is about Y/n," she announced coldly as she straightened her posture, eyes still fierce as she added. "Or you'd be six feet under by now, Haitanis."
