"Tetta Kisaki asked you to join him?" Y/n asks, raising a brow as Kiyoko nods. "Why do I feel like this is old news?" you mumble. Kiyoko gives you a closed-eyed smile as she lowers her teacup. "Well, forgive me, but I've been trying to contact you for almost two years now," she says sweetly, and you frown softly, avoiding her glare as she stares you down. "You weren't exactly responsive."
You sigh and lower your head. "I'm sorry." She blinks and sets her cup on the table, eyes closed briefly. "Y/n, though I cannot relate to your feelings at this moment...and the past couple of years but know this." She takes your hand, squeezing it reassuringly. "I will be here to support you. I will even have my gang join the upcoming fight if you so wish it," Kiyoko adds, causing your eyes to widen.
"How did you..?"
She leans back, flicking her hair as she crosses her legs. "You underestimate my intelligence network," she replies with a knowing smirk. "You may not have wanted to reach out, but I still needed to make sure you didn't get yourself into any trouble," she adds, closing her eyes briefly as she raises a hand. You let out a breath and slice a piece of the cake you had.
"I would rather you don't get involved," you say after a moment, and she nods. "I understand...How are you fairing though?"
Your eyes narrow, and your fork presses against the soft bread. "I lost control not too recently," you say quietly. "All these bottled-up emotions will bring about my ruin," you sigh and stab the piece, biting into it.
"Is that why you joined Toman?" she asks, taking a sip of her tea. "They help ground me." That was all you said, but you knew it was enough for her to understand.
"I heard Baji is no longer a part of the gang. You've told me that you used to spar with him to release your pent-up frustration," she suddenly says, and you can't help but huff with a smile. "You've always catch on quickly," you say, taking another bite.
"What will you do now?"
Your eyes narrow as you stare at your reflection in your drink. The buzz of the cafe reached your ears as you sat in silence.
You raise the cup as you answer her. "I wait for Halloween."

"And why exactly do you need me for this?" you ask, frowning down at the blonde as he tapped his fingers together nervously.
"Because I trust you~" Takemichi cheekily says, scratching the back of his head as your eyes narrow.
"It's because he's scared," Chifuyu deadpanned from beside him, causing Takemichi to quickly shut the boy up.
"He's a fallen gang leader, so there's no reason to fear such a man," you sigh, looking away in a bored manner as you place a hand on your hip.
"Pretty please, Y/n! This is to help with you know what," he pleads, his hands together as he begs. That caught your attention, and you nod. "Alright then." If it had something to do with the future, then you saw no further reason to argue. Not to mention, you haven't gotten any visions on your end.
Which is how you ended up in the hallway of a shop that Kiyomasa worked at as he told his story. You leaned against the wall as you listened to how Kisaki had manipulated him and the brat's plan to take the number two spot in Toman. Honestly, you've seen worse, but you were certain that Kisaki would become nothing short of a villain once he was older.
Now he's even involved in this upcoming fight with Valhalla and how his next 'sword' is Hanma. You thought for a moment about the tall man now involved. Kiyoko had told you that he was with Kisaki two years ago when they came to ask her to let them join. Then again during the festival in August when he wanted you to join him. Then he became a captain just as another resigned and after driving the former third division captain to insanity with the need for revenge. You grin softly. It'll be fun knocking him down a peg, you think as you begin connecting the dots.
"What kind of monster uses others to kill people without getting their own hands dirty?" Kiyomasa grits, sweating bullets and wide-eyed as you glance at him.
"On the topic," you interrupt, drawing their attention. "Kisaki tried recruiting me too," you state.
Silence follows as Takemichi and Chifuyu gawk at you as if you just grew another head. Their mouths hang open as Kiyomasa furrows his brows. Who is she again?
"WHAT!? AND YOU DIDN'T THINK TO TELL ME!!" Takemichi shouts, causing you to deadpan as you cross your arms. "You never asked."
"Calm down, man," Chifuyu mutters, but it falls on deaf ears.
"Y/N!! THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" he exclaims, getting in your face.
"What did he want you to do?" Chifuyu asks, pulling the still-flabbergasted blonde away from you.
"He wanted me to kill Takemichi," you say nonchalantly, pointing at the blue-eyed blonde.
Another round of silence and you deadpan, already knowing what came next.
"SERIOUSLY, Y/N?! YOU DON'T KEEP THAT KIND OF INFO TO YOURSELF!!" Chifuyu exclaims as Takemichi faints on the spot, causing his vice-captain to whirl on him. "Takemichi!? Hey! This is not the time to nap!" he growls, shaking Takemichi. Kiyomasa watched the scene unfold with a pale face. What have I gotten myself into?
After dragging them out of the shop, your little group walked through a neighborhood, the sky painted in the hues of the setting sun.
"Well, one thing is for sure now," Chifuyu spoke up, catching the other's attention. "Valhalla does have someone on the top." He stops causing the other two to pause. "A leader no one knew about, and his name is Tetta Kisaki," he says with conviction as he faces Takemichi who lets out a noise of surprise. "He's currently in Toman so the throne is empty."
You can see the gears working and Chifuyu sounded so sure, but.
"That's not the case." They whirl on you in surprise. "But I can see why you'd think that. However, don't forget what Kisaki truly wants," you continue, giving Takemichi a pointed look. "You said it yourself, Michi. He wants Mikey, so do you really think he'd want to be the leader when he looks up to Mikey so much."
"I don't see where you're going with this," Chifuyu mutters, eyes narrowing nervously. You let out a soft breath and remind yourself that these two are densely younger than you. "Then, tell me this, what usually happens when a gang fight is over, Chifuyu."
"The losing gang merges with the winner," he states, and his eyes widen, causing you to smirk darkly. "Exactly." Takemichi whipped his head between the pair, still not getting it. "The Headless Angels will have a leader once this is all over."
"And that leader will be Mikey!" Chifuyu exclaims, and the blue-eyed blonde gawks at the pair. "WHAT?!"

A long figure with long wavy black hair sat before a tombstone as another approached. "You know." Y/n pulls her hood back. "Text messages work too, Baji."
"I didn't want it to get traced," he says as you subtly read the name on the stone. "He may have brains, but I doubt he's some computer geek on top of a gang fanatic." He stays quiet and you lower your head. "Was there something you wanted me to do specifically?" you ask, cutting the small talk.
"Y/n, I need you to take out as many members as possible," he says, still not meeting your eyes.
"That's a given, what else?"
"I'll handle Kisaki since you're with Toman and go easy on Kazutora." Baji finally turns around and stares you dead in the eyes, your faces expressionless. "But if you get the chance...take Kisaki out of the picture." You smirk, eyes glinting darkly. "Of course, he's caused enough trouble for my little Toman brothers. I should simply return the favor."
Baji huffs a laugh. "I'll leave it to you then."
