Y/n crossed her arms, hair swaying in the slight breeze. You had changed into a black, sleeveless turtle-neck and shorts. And stockings that went past your knees. Your bandages peeking out, but you didn't mind. "A girl has to look good while fighting," your mother's voice said in your head. You dead-panned at the reminder, she's not wrong, Y/n thought.
"Don't you dare go easy on me just because I'm injured." They both flinched and looked away. You dead-panned, "I mean it," you growled.
Sighing, you pulled your hair into a high ponytail. Tightening it, you shot them a glare. "Fine. But I'll make you regret that." You turned to the butler. He nodded, "The first to admit defeat or lose consciousness will lose." He raised a small gun in the air. His other hand covered his ear.
BANG!
Rin moved immediately, aiming for your legs to knock you to the ground. At the same time, Ran pulled out a baton. You side-stepped Rin and kicked him on the side. Sending him flying across the field.
Ran appeared behind you, baton in the air. He swung for your head, only to swing through empty air. His eyes widened as you swiped your leg under his feet. He fell with a thud, he has a good grip on that baton, Y/n thought, staring down at him.
You were about to finish him off, but a sudden force knocked you over. Rin tackled you to the ground. Your arm pulled behind your back as his legs intertwined with yours.
"Heh, you're pretty good but━" He tightened his hold, causing you to grit your teeth. "Anymore, and I might just break your bones. So, how about it?" Rin leaned closer to your ear. "Why not just give up?"
You chuckled, "I've been in worst holds than this." You relaxed your muscles and slipped out.
In a series of maneuvers, you had him pinned underneath you. "Now~ what about you, Haitani." You pushed his head down harder. "Give up?"
He smirked as your senses suddenly went on high alert. Whirling around, your hand grabbed the baton before it could smack your head.
Ran's eyes widened as he smirked. "Whoa~ who knew you'd be this fast." He pulled at the weapon, but you held firm. "And this strong too!"
You felt Rin shift from under you, and you scoffed. I'm cornered, what to do?
Your fingers traveled down the back of Rin's neck, causing him to still under your touch. Placing your fingers on his neck, you pressed the pressure points.
He lurched before his eyes rolled back, falling unconscious.
"Young Master Rin has lost consciousness!" the butler shouted. Ran smirked as you jumped off Rin, releasing the baton.
You both waited as the maids moved Rin. Ran chuckled, a hand on his waist. "You really are something, Y/n~"
"I wasn't expecting you two to put up much of a fight," you commented.
"Is that an insult?" he asked, smiling.
"More of a compliment," you replied, smiling as well.
The butler gave the signal and Ran swung the baton. Y/n expertly dodged, trying to get a reading on his movements.
