Y/n gently set Chifuyu on the bed that Kuragari had prepared at the house. "Wow, he looks terrible," he grumbles, already not wanting to work.

"Just help him, okay," you snap. He glances at you from the corner of his eye. "Someone's on edge," he remarks. You let out a breath, trying to clear the fog from your mind. It was like all you could think of was going back and beating the shit out of everyone there. "Sorry, my mind's a bit...overwhelmed," you say and walk out. "I'm going to get some air." Y/n didn't return after that, even after Chifuyu woke up. "Ugh, what a drag. She was the one supposed to tell you," Kuragari grumbles, rubbing his head in frustration.

While Kuragari informed him of how he ended there, Y/n was roaming the streets, an umbrella shielding her from the rain. As you strolled through the outskirts of the city, you came upon twin stone lanterns at the foot of a flight of stairs surrounded by a dense canopy of trees. The rain continued to pour down, making the stone steps glisten and no doubt slippery. Despite the weather, you felt drawn to the shrine as if it would provide you with a safe place from your turmoiled mind. You were sure no one would be there at this time in such weather. After contemplating for a few moments. You took care not to slip as you focused on each step instead of the grip of desire to destroy and kill that had taken root in your mind.

You paused for a moment as you reached the final step. You were caught in a daze once the ordeal had come to an end. Your mind seemed less hazy, surrounded by the silent trees and pitter-patter of the rain. As you gazed upwards, you made the conscious decision to take a brief respite in this place for a few hours. You had been awake throughout the previous night, and your body was in desperate need of some downtime to recharge. Your eyes were on the ground as you stared solemnly, watching the raindrops splash in the small puddles littering the ground.

"Well, this is a surprise."

You look up and lift the umbrella. A white-haired boy around your age stood with another. Your eyes trail to the scar and mismatched eyes of the younger one, but don't dwell on it. "I wasn't expecting anyone here either," you say softly. You notice that the male had white hair that was parted from the middle and barely a few strands covered his buzzcut, which was a bit unusual. Usually, people only shave their heads because of a trending style or...Your eyes glance up at him. If they went to juvie, you think.

You meet his eyes and study him a bit closer, eyes narrowing. His mouth curves in surprise before facing you fully, his earrings clinking with the movement.

"I must say, your gaze is...interesting," he says. "Is that so," you reply shortly. He gives you a carefree smile and comes closer. From his attire, you could tell he was a gangster in the least, the red was a jarring contrast to the dull rain and shrine. "If you're about to have a meeting or something here, just tell me, and I'll be on my way," you add. His smile widens in amusement and stops in front of you.

"There is no meeting," he answers. The pair stared at each other for a moment before he introduced himself. "My name is Izana Kurokawa, leader of the Tenjiku Gang." A sharp pain stabs through your head like a bolt when you heard that name and your vision blurs over as you're pulled into the scene from the future.

You were walking down a relatively empty street on a cold winter night, snow gently falling. Your e/c eyes were empty as you stared ahead, having finished the last of your college classes for the day. You wanted to continue your studies despite already having a set plan in life, but you did it in spite of your mother. You also went on strike and turned down every task she sent your way ever since. You still haven't forgiven her for forcing those two into juvie because even when the two years were up, you never saw them again. No matter what you did, it was almost like they never existed. That or they were avoiding you, which was unlikely at the time. You exhale, a soft mist forming as you stare into the dark sky. Today had been especially tiring, and you half regretted doing this, but you reminded yourself of the reason.
