S2: The Po Who Cried Ghost

It was late at night and the others decided to tell each other ghost stories in the barracks as they had all gathered together and told each other their scariest stories

"The menacing figure crept closer, closer! He looked over his helpless victims as they suddenly realized... he had highly contagious flu symptoms!" Mantis spoke as he stood on top of a tiny box lantern

"Oh! No, no!" Crane screamed as he shook his head, causing his hat to fall off and making Mantis and Daiyu laugh

"I knew that would get him!" Mantis chuckled as Tigress raised her eyebrow towards Crane, who hid behind his hat and Daiyu just chuckled at his scared demeanor

"Right. Anyone else?" Tigress asked

"How about you, Po? Know any scary stories?" Monkey asked as Po replied

"Do I?" He asked as he suddenly started laughing maniacally, then stopped when he saw their annoyed faces

"Alright, Po. More is less" Daiyu said as Po nodded

"Yeah"

Po walked up to the front and held the lantern, before speaking

"Prepare yourselves for the incredible true story of the jiang shi. The hopping ghost! Every year, we honor our departed ancestors at the Ghost Festival. But when the proper respect is not payed, the dead can turn nasty! The undead corpse transforms into a jiang shi and prowls the earth, lusting after the blood and brains of the living!

Stiff from being dead and junk, they're forced to hop around in an hideous unbendy fashion. Possessing creepy powers, they can fly through the air, walk through walls or freeze you with their horrible death breath. And their next victim...

Could be you!"

Tigress gasped when he finished telling his story

"It's terrifying, Po!... if I was four!"

Everyone laughed at Po's attempt to tell a scary story, which was far from scary and more like retelling a children's novel

"Good one, good one, Tigress!" Monkey laughed

"What's terrifying is that you actually remember all that randomness" Crane grinned as Tigress then asked

"You don't really believe all those old stories, do you?"

"Uh, yes. Guys, ghosts are real! That's why I've read about every ghost scroll in the library" Po replied as Monkey scoffed

"No one likes a ghost smarty-pants, Po"

"Perhaps. But if we ever run into a hopping ghost, you won't know what to do and I will"

Just then, Shifu opened the door from behind, causing Po to get startled and bump into a wall and fall on his back

"Finally, someone who knows his ghosts. Tell these nonbelievers the stories about the throttling and the chocking and the hurting!" Po said as Shifu replied

"As you said, Po. Stories. There are no such things as ghosts"

"Do the ghosts know that?" Po asked as Shifu ignited his question and then said

"But in spite of the facts many people do believe, for instance, we've just received a report from the country side of... strange apparitions" after saying that, thunder and lighting suddenly appeared as Shifu didn't react at all

"Strange apparitions?" Po asked as thunder and lighting appeared again and Po reached with slight fear, Shifu nodded
