"You got arrested for harassment," Madam Jeon said, her voice laced with disappointment. "This has never happened before. Going to bars. Frolicking with whores. Drinking alcohol? Do you realize you're underage? What even are you doing at a bar? If the Chairman finds out about this, he'd be so mad at you. When did this even start? What is going on?" She stared at him in disbelief for a long, silent moment. "Don't try this again, Jin. Ever.  You're a good boy, and I don't want you to prove me wrong on that. Is this the behavior you want your dongsaeng to emulate? I don't want to ever hear of such a thing again."

Bowing his head in apology, Jin said, "I'm sorry, Ma'am." Before she turned away to face her assistant and got into a different conversation in a hushed tone.

Jin could have told her that he hadn't harassed the lady. That he'd been the  one harassed. But there really was no point, he didn't want to start defending himself knowing it would mean nothing.

He left the room, letting out a sigh as the door shut behind him. He'd not expected anything spectacular to happen to him that day but he sure as hell hand't expected to be scolded so early in it.

Once he stepped out of the Madam's private living room, his phone vibrated with a text from Hoseok to meet later in the day. He wasn't sure yet what the day's schedule would be like, so he'd texted back that he'd hit get back to him once he had an opening. For that moment, he had to go to school— drive Jungkook to school, rather.

Jungkook was waiting by the back door of the Range Rover when Jin got outside. As usual, Jin had woken up early to have a quick run in the estate, check the car was in a good state to move around for the day, clean it—even though there was someone else designated for the task—head back into the house to prepare for school, wait for Jungkook to have breakfast—on days he had breakfast—and then head for school.

That day's routine had been interrupted by the Madam's invitation to her living room, where he'd been the last fifteen minutes getting an earful. She was like a mother figure in his life, and when what most people said to him rarely got to him, her words always permeated through his skin and settled within him.

"I'm not going late to school because of your drunken escapade," Jungkook said, opening the car door, getting in and slamming it behind him.

Jin climbed into the driver's side, shutting the door behind him. "We're going late to school because you're so childish and have to rat everything to mummy," he retorted.

"You wouldn't have been summoned if you had not illegally visited a bar. Aren't you done with this roguish lifestyle or is it deeply rooted in you?" Jungkook snapped, seeming irritated.

Jin didn't want to handle this level of immaturity so early. Jungkook had gone to report to his mother that Jin had been arrested, Jin had been the one who'd gotten scolded, yet Jungkook was the one with the bitter reaction. It only showed how far his entitlement went.

"Grow the hell up, Jungkook," Jin said in annoyance, before turning up the radio to drown out whatever it was Jungkook wanted to say.

The entire ride, Jin's fist clenched tightly and unclenched from the wheel. Nobody, living or dead, had ever gotten under his skin as much as Jungkook did. He was the most irritating, entitled and annoying person Jin had ever encountered in his 18 years of living.

He was still in a bad mood when they got to school and the little ingrate climbed out of the backseat without saying a word like he'd been dropped off by a ghost. A ghost who needed no acknowledgement or gratitude for getting them both to school in one piece and in time.

"You look fed up," Taehyung noted, sitting atop an abandoned desk on the rooftop.

"Isn't he always?" Jimin asked, scrolling endlessly on his phone. Jin wondered if he never got tired of looking at the bright screen all the time. But it was Jimin's job and Jin would never fault anyone for making an honest living.

"He pisses me off," Jin muttered.

"You say this every day," Taehyung laughed.

"Jungkook is annoying every day," Jin remarked. "He's annoying and childish. I think the older he gets the more irritating he becomes."

"I think he's cute," Jimin said casually, only to turn and find Jin staring at him like he'd just said he ate earthworms for breakfast. "What? Look."

Jimin showed his phone screen to a picture of Jungkook and Yoongi. Jungkook was sprawled out on the floor, sweaty and shirtless, and in where appeared to be the gym. And Yoongi, who was beside him, was fully clothed.

Yes, he looked nice. It was unarguable. Jin had been more than aware of Jungkook's good looks since the first day he'd seen him, but good looks meant nothing when his ugly was that ugly.

"He's so unreasonable," Jin insisted, because good looks or not, Jungkook's behavior was as appalling as it got.

"What do you expect? He's spoiled and—" Jimin's words got cut short by rumbling and the three of them looked up at the darkened sky. "When did it get so dark?" Jimin asked, his gaze trailing to Jin.

Jin couldn't tear his eyes away from the grey clouds. It was going to rain again. God, he hated the rain so much. They brought memories, dark, ugly memories he wanted to keep in the deepest, darkest part of his mind.

But every time it rained, he was reminded of the worst day of his life. He didn't want to harbor that memory, especially not today of all days.

A/n: As promised, here's another chapter.

Also, why do you think Jin hates the rain? Let me know.
