"Let's switch," Jungkook said, letting out a tired yawn and rubbing his eyes. The stereo was softly belting out one of the playlists saved to the car's system. They'd been on the road for 3 hours and he had been asleep for half the time, but the car hadn't stopped for a second since they took off.
"It's fine, go back to sleep," Jin said, briefly shifting his gaze to Jungkook before returning it to the dark road in front of them.
"I already slept. It's your turn," Jungkook insisted. "Park the car, so we can switch."
"I don't want to sleep and we're not taking turns. It's late and I don't want you-"
"Jin, park the car."
Jin was stubborn. It was something Jungkook had come to accept. His hand tightened against the wheel in protest but eventually, he parked to the side of the empty road. Jungkook undid his seatbelt and climbed out, walking to the other side just as Jin did the same.
He sat behind the wheel and shifted the gear to drive, bringing the car back on the road to continue their journey. He felt relieved sitting there, with Jin next to him. Jin looked displeased that Jungkook was driving but at least, he was resting now. That was what mattered to Jungkook.
When Taehyung had told him to take care of Jin, he hadn't taken it lightly. He knew Jin too well. Jin would put Jungkook's health and safety first before his own. In fact, he would disregard himself just to make sure that Jungkook was fine.
It was time Jungkook reciprocated. On this new journey of theirs, he had no intention of letting Jin captain the whole way. He wasn't going to let Jin stand by his side as his body guard or his guardian. They were now equal partners. He was going to put in the same amount of effort that Jin put in.
He'd been unfair this whole time, accepting way more love and care than he was giving. That was going to change now, whether Jin would make an issue of it or not.
"I saw something at the back earlier," Jin said. He turned around and reached towards the backseat, rummaging around until he was settling back with a mini cooler in his hand. He popped open the plastic lid and let out a soft chuckle. "This dude," he said.
"What's in it?" Jungkook asked, looking over at Jin to see him pull out bags of sandwiches.
"Food," Jin answered. "He bought us sandwiches, some cans of Coke and bottles of water. That thoughtful asshole. I didn't even remember we were going to eat," he said, tearing a plastic bag open and holding out a sandwich to Jungkook to eat.
Jungkook leaned away from it. "What does it taste like?" he asked.
Jin took a bite from it and moaned deeply as he chewed.
"That good?" He asked, wondering how great the sandwich was to have Jin almost orgasm right there. Not like Jungkook would mind watching and hearing Jin orgasm. "Eat more, please," he urged.
