Jungkook was standing in front of the Boy's Quarter with his head bowed, his hands slipped into his pockets as he paced about, kicking his legs casually. He was muttering something inaudible to himself.

It was quite a sight, an unusual one because Jungkook never visited this part of the house. The part behind the mansion where the guards' living quarters—a one storey brown building—was located. The part where Jin spent most of his evenings studying by the BQ's balcony, his Airpods inserted into his ears as soft jazz music played through it.

As opposed to Jungkook's accusations a few days back of Jin roaming about Seoul and having a fuck spree, Jin rarely left his quarters unless he absolutely had to and that included days when he felt overwhelmed and exhausted, and just needed to be with his friends. He didn't spend his time sleeping with people like a manwhore —like a gigolo, according to Prince Charming over there.

And he did look like a Prince Charming with his casual movements, oblivious to Jin's presence at the corner. He wore an ash long-sleeved shirt that hugged his slim body, accentuating his baby abs, and black shorts that stopped a few inches above his knees.

It was the most casual Jin had ever seen Jungkook in, but somehow it was the most heart tugging sight. Jungkook had a way of pulling common, innocent outfits that made them not so common or innocent.

Jin didn't try to hide that he was staring when Jungkook's brown eyes finally found him, his movements halting. For a brief moment, they both stood still, staring at each other.

Then Jin made a move to break the silence. He shuffled forward, licking his lips. "What's up?" He asked, inching towards the small BQ building.

It really was small but highly conducive with a cozy living room, a sizeable bedroom — that occupied a king-sized bed, a shelf where Jin stored all his school books, novels and comics, another large drawer with six shelves where his clothes were neatly folded in and a rack for his sneakers and slides.

There was a kitchenette carved out of the living room with a fridge, a two-way stove and a microwave that doubled as an oven. Even his bathroom was large enough to occupy a bathtub and a shower tube.

He really appreciated the space allocated to him at the estate, away from the guard's building. He had his own privacy living alone in the BQ.

Jungkook’s gaze fleeted up and down Jin's body uncertainly. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm okay," Jin responded. Jungkook's face was pulled into a worried wince. He was truly adorable.

No matter how much Jungkook tried to hide it, he had a soft side. A side that Jin had seen over and over and over again. It was a side that overshadowed his annoying parts.

"Are you okay?" Jin asked.

A cold gush of wind rolled over, sending shivers boiling through Jin's pores.
