"Can you try to not like me? Maybe if you do, then I'll learn to not like you back."

Jungkook leaned against the side of the car, his gaze locked in on the man on the floor. Anger went through him. What a disgusting, pile of shit. His very existence irritated and annoyed Jungkook. Forget stabbing his leg if he moved like Jin had said, Jungkook wanted to stab him just for the very reason that he was breathing and living and posing as a threat and terror to the very people he was supposed to protect with his life.
“I promise you this time around, you’re going to rot in jail,” he spat at the man, resisting the urge to kick him in the face. “Someone like you deserves to be alone. You deserve to live without love or care or kindness for the rest of your miserable life. I will make sure that you spend a longer part of the remaining years you have left in a little box with no form of interaction or entertainment whatsoever.”
He just had to call the right people. There were people he had to pay good money to and they would make this animal disappear for good.
“But first, just pray that Hoseok is okay, because if he isn’t, Jin isn’t going to let you leave here alive, trust me. Because the only person able to stop him from doing anything drastic to you is Hoseok,” he said. “And maybe me, and believe me, I will not stop him if you have hurt anybody in that house.”
Mr. Kim mumbled something inaudible.
“You’re making a sound. I was told you stab you in the leg if you make a sound. Don’t push me more than you already have.”
“I… I l-love my family. I really- AHHH!” His words were taken out when Jungkook reached for his head and yanked painfully at his hair. “You, bastard!”
“If you utter one more word to me, I will kill you, I swear to God,” he gritted out. He felt his teeth chatter in his mouth from anger. He glared hard at the bastard, his insides burning. His hands itched to punch him repeatedly but he shoved the man’s head away before he followed through.
He took a few steps away, making sure to keep his eyes on the man. He needed space, he needed air and being around this idiot was suffocating. He hoped Bambam was okay. He hoped that the girls were okay. And Hoseok… The other policeman.
God. Jungkook put his hand on his head. They were there because of him. He’d brought Bambam and the girls to this ‘safe house’ which had been safe until their mother had leaked their location to the very person they had been hiding from. If anything happened to any of them, it would be his fault.
Hoseok and Abel had come because Jin had called them. And Jin had called them because of him. So many people’s lives had been put in danger because he had made a bad decision. He kept making bad decisions that always backfired and affected others.
His decision to keep quiet about Hanuel and then the rippling effect that had caused the entire world to talk about him nonstop for weeks, had sent Liam and Chen on one month unpaid suspension. Even Jin had been punished when all he had done was come to Jungkook’s rescue to comfort him and be there with him.
