V2 Chapter 3: The Midterms: Prelude to Hell.

Upon insistence from the people in the class, Chabashira unfurled the result paper and tacked it up onto the board with some magnets.  I also saw her hands move over the red marker.  Last time she used it, it was used to show how a few people would have been expelled. 

I could feel the eyes on me, and I continued to observe Chabashira and everyone else in class.  Kikyo was doing like I told her to, taking pictures of the results which allowed me to continue observing the others.

Akito: Yo Kiyo, that paper you and Kushida got really pulled us through!

Kiyotaka: Yeah I had to ask a few female senpais for it. I was really nervous cause I didn't know if the papers would be the same or not. But the quizzes were so I prayed I guess!

Ken was looking in the lower middle of the paper, and I checked the paper, his score was a 49.  Airi was a 50, Haruka was a 67, Akito got a 68, and Keisei got a 91.  Solid scores, and Airi and Ken received scores a few points higher than I thought.  The two idiots were leaping around, seemingly happy with their 43 and 45.  It seems cramming might have worked for them.  Is what I would say if shenanigans didn't occur.

While everyone was loudly cheering, hooting, and hollering, only a few seemed to notice Chabashira's slender fingers wrap around the marker, and she drew a thick red line above Ike Kanji's name.  As soon as people began to notice, there was a cry of disbelief.

Ike: WHAT?!  SENSEI WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?!

Yamauchi: Yeah he passed!  Oh wait are you messing with us or something?

As Chabashira explained the new average, i went back into flashback world

I had finished paying for Kanzaki's expulsion, and I was chillaxing in my dorm room a few days later when I received a call from a certain maiden.  It wasn't Horikita, who I had just finished giving a lesson in How To Be The Perfect Dog-101.  This call was from none other than Kikyo.

Kiyotaka: Yellow.

Kikyo: Uh hi?  Anyways, I was just wondering about Horikita-San, she's been giving it her all for everyone in my study group, but before she said she wouldn't.  Did you do something?

Kiyotaka: I convinced her over some tea and biscuits.  I told her that she needed to get her act together or something might happen to her.  But she also told me something reaaaaally interesting.

Kikyo: Hm?  What did she have to tell you?

Kiyotaka: She said I shouldn't trust you, and that you were dangerous. 

I could hear her giggle from the other end.

Kikyo: Awh, snuggle muffins!

Kiyotaka: What?

Kikyo: I'm somewhat in public right now and-

Karuizawa: Kushida-Chan are you calling your booooyf-

The call disconnected and I rolled my eyes.  That stupid bitch Karuizawa had to get in the way.  I was going to ask about Ike and Yamauchi's progress, but I guess it's fine for me to assume about Ike...

Flash forward but not all the way forward, so like a flash back but you got here from the past.  I know, it's very trippy.

Two days before the midterms, I had called Kikyo up for "lunch."

Kikyo: H-Hi Kiyotaka! You called me here for something?
