Almost...almost over...I can make it...yes...
Kiyotaka Pov
The morning finally arrived. What we all had been preparing for had finally come, and now it would be a test of how well we practiced the various tasks.First, we would be tested on Meditation. Shortly after, we would do the long distance relay. Following that, each of us would give our final speech.
I walked through the facilities halls alone while it was still early in the morning. My group had just finished our morning breakfast preparation, and we had some free time.
Over the course of the morning time we spent cooking, Yahiko and the other students improved their cooking skills, making the process much quicker and efficient as a result.
If anything were to be taken away from this camp and used in daily life, it would be cooking.
In the real world it is essential to be able to cook and take care of yourself. Living off of instant ramen is unhealthy, and it's not like most frozen meals are any better.
A person should consume at least two meals a day to stay healthy, so when eating instant ramen, a risk is brought up.
Instant ramen possesses high amounts of sodium that turn out to be 90% of the average human's daily intake of sodium. Eating two in a day would mean almost doubling the recommended intake.
High sodium levels cause short and long-term health problems, like headaches and increasing the risk of heart disease and kidney failure.
Cooking a healthy meal and maintaining a balanced lifestyle are critical in your younger years to prevent problems when you become a senior.
While I thought, I walked into a small hallway, or rather, the meeting location.
Although I arrived early, she seemed to be here already.
Kikyo seemed aggravated while leaning against the wall. Her arms were crossed under her breasts and her gaze was set burning holes into the decorative hydrangeas.
If the person who set those out were here, they might weep if they saw somebody glaring at their hard work.
"Something wrong?" I asked with a smile.
Kikyo shook her head strongly and sighed gruffly, "Do you think dealing with that prick Horikita and all those annoying girls are even close to OK? Whoever came up with this exam, I want them to suffer for such an awful idea!"
She was shaking with rage, and I noticed her hands were balled into fists.
"Planning on fighting anybody?" I teased while pointing at her clenched hand.
Kikyo sneered and turned her body to me, "I'm really considering it, because if I have to here one more word from Shinohara I might actually burst a blood vessel! For such an ugly and stupid girl, she really has a lot of stuff to say!"
Even when saying such things about her classmates and supposed friends, she manages to keep that same cheery voice even if her face is betraying her.
I nodded along silently, allowing her to rant further about her enemies, or as Yamauchi would say, the opps.
"And that Shiina girl? She sits with us randomly at dinner, and she's a complete freak! All she does is stare at us and randomly say the strangest things," said Kikyo, "And she seriously pisses me off! Every time she's near, I get nervous because of her knowing my secret! Girls like her should just disappear forever!"
She continued like that, gradually moving from one girl to the next. She was like a train moving between stations and at each station she would rant about the passengers. One could say she was like a toxic gossip train. Chugging down the tracks of misinformation, that misinformation being the way she completely slanders everybody she attacks.
