Winter was a season commonly associated with solitude and loneliness, alongside death. However, for me it was the opposite. It was a time of socialization and new beginnings, the beginning being that of my first encounter with snow.

Not only was this my first time seeing and feeling snow, but I also had multiple people to experience this phenomenon with.

The main trouble plaguing me?

How do I get them to play in the snow with me?

OK, maybe that isn't the most threatening problem, but it is a problem. My actual biggest problem was Ryuen's continued search for the mastermind of Class D. Or should I say C?

Saying C is correct, because at the end of the Paper Shuffle, a massive shift occurred.

Before Paper Shuffle:

Class A Ichinose-912

Class B Ryuen-660

Class C Sakayanagi/Katsuragi-566

Class D Me-490

When the results were released it was determined that the new point totals were as follows:

Class A(A)-872

Class B(C)-616

Class C(D)-540

Class D(B)-510

Now, losing 150 class points from this exam is impossible without an expulsion and a victory. Yet, neither event occurred in Ryuen's class.

It seems that they lost 100 class points for some unknown reason.

Back to what's important, the snow. Currently, it was forecasted that snow would fall later in this current week, perhaps into next week.

I was excited to walk through the snow, to hear the crunch of his beneath my boots. Unfortunately, it was seen as childish to play in the snow.

Still, I could twist it to make it seem cute for me to do it.

In society, pretty privilege does exist. If you saw a man who looked homeless picking up a baby from a stroller, your first thought would be that he was a kidnapper.

However, if someone who was put together and even just mildly attractive, you would just assume it was the baby's parent picking them up.

In my case, seeing me walking around in the snow would seem cute, and innocent. If it were Yamauchi, everyone would criticize him for being childish.

My earlier deduction was incorrect. So long as my activities aren't too foolish, I could realistically get away with a few activities in the snow.

But what counted as too childish?

It seems that an emergency meeting is an order.

Stepping into the mall, I spotted Ken already waiting for me. I had invited the entire Ayanokouji Group out to walk around the mall. My main purpose was to fish for information about what would be too childish when it came to activities for snow days.

"Hey, Ken," I said waving my hand over to him. The jock looked over and nodded, "sup, Taka? How are you?"

"Pretty good, any idea when the others will be here?" I asked, coming to a stop next to him.

"Nope, no idea."

"Anyways, how are things with you and Horikita? Christmas Eve is coming up," I noted. I became aware of this holiday last month when Sato mentioned in passing to me when talking about meeting up some days.
