                         Kiyotaka Pov

After I had arrived at my dorm, I was alerted to a text on my phone.

I, Ken, Akito, and Keisei have our own group chat specifically dedicated to guy things. Keisei had tried to leave multiple times but kept getting added back by Ken and Akito. Both of their motives are still unclear to this day.

Ken: Guys, should I ask Horikita out?

Keisei: No.

Akito: She would actually kill you

Kiyotaka: You should not.

A moments pause as Ken typed:

Ken: But I kinda like her?

Kiyotaka: Do you like living?

Ken: Ofc

Kiyotaka: Then don't. Idk what you see in someone that rude.

Ken: Ok well ya she's rude but it's kinda hot. Like your close with Koenji.

Keisei: You're*

Kiyotaka: I'm not close with Koenji at all, in fact, I think he's the only person in this class that I don't like.

Akito: Cold.

Ken: Ok, ok, I still wanna use this as a place to ask her out! How bout we meet at Taka's dorm?

Kiyotaka: Why my dorm???

Ken: Cause you can cook and stuff. I like instant noodles but I need smth healthier.

Keisei: In fact, you eat too many, your sodium levels must be so high.

Ken: I sweat it off, it's ok.

Akito: I'm not sure if that's how it works. But ya, meet at Taka's in 5?

Kiyotaka: Fine, but if there's a mess I will hunt you all down and make you dress up as maids.

Keisei: Horrifying.

Akito: Ooh, I'm shaking in mi boots!

I shut off my phone and immediately got to work on making chicken tenders for the salad. I had intended to use grilled chicken at first, however, Akito and Ken have proven to be more interested in chicken tenders.

Keisei would prefer grilled chicken, but unfortunately, majority rules, and I need to make the food fast.

The next few minutes were spent with simple meal preparation when I first heard the doorbell ring.

Opening the door, it revealed both Ken and Akito, who brought along with them a bag of chips.

"I already have chips here?"

Ken shook his head, "not the good stuff, dill pickle literally rocks!"

"Salt and Vinegar is the best flavor, I'm not sure what at all you're on about," I said, "either way, come on in, dinner's almost ready."

As the two filed in, behind them, I noticed Keisei, "oh, you can come in as well."

"Thank you Kiyotaka-Kun."

The three boys sat down at the small table and began to chat with one another as I put the finishing touches on the meal. I could hear Ken loudly shout no to some muffled suggestion Keisei had to offer.

I came out with the meal, placing it down in front of them, and instantly Ken began to eat.

"Woah, save some for the rest of us," said Akito, scooping salad out of the communal bowl and onto his plate.
