Chapter 5: Fix

Valentine POV

Ilang araw na kaming hindi nag uusap ni Kristen dahil sa kanyang nalaman. I know it's my fault why she mad right now.

Nagtataka si James nang makita niyang hindi kami nag papansinan ni Kristen nang dumating siya after niyang mawala ng Ilang araw,

Tanging kaming apat lang nina Jeremy ang magkasamang kumakain tuwing break time.

"Give her time to think about this. Sobra lang talaga siyang nasaktan" James said and I just nodded at him. I know she's hurt.

But I'm hurt too....

"One week. Then talk to her"

I looked at Jeremy when he uttered, I sigh. Maybe he right, maybe I should give Kristen a space.

"Anyway, I go ahead. Something came up" he suddenly said after he looked his cellphone. Tumango lang ako sa kanya, lately I find him weirdly and suspicious.

I don't know, "Where he going?" Kush asked me but I'm just shrugged at him. "Iba ang kutob ko sa lalaking yan, he just look nerdly but something is off" Kush told me.

"I agree with him, Kristen. Even Jeremy is my friend, I find him suspicious" James added.

For some reason I believed with them. "What do you think he hiding?" I asked.

But both of them didn't answer. Who are you Jeremy? Why I felt like I need to know who you are?

The time passes, it's uwian na, yet Kristen and I still didn't talk each other, I know that I should give her a space but I really wanted to talk to her.

How I wish I could solve the problem I have right now, Maybe, this what he gave to me, the problems.

When I was walking I saw Jeremy, he was wearing a black jeans with black t-shirt. He's riding in the motorcycle. Shit he looks hot!

Pero saan siya pupunta and why he wearing like that? May patay ba? Out of nowhere, I found myself following him.

Masama ang kutob ko rito, something is off. They right, Jeremy has secret that he didn't want to told us.

It is my first time to become spy. "Can you please faster manong?" I requested to the driver, he nodded at me.

I know it's dangerous that I followed him but I'm really curious about what he hiding.

Yet we still didn't arrived where he will land, my phone ring. It was Valrian, kunot noo akong napatingin sa cellphone ko.

Why did he calling me? "Yes, Kuya Valrian?" I answered the phone.

"Where are you?" He asked over the phone. "At my friends house why?" I lied. I don't want to tell him that I'm taking risk my life.

"Go to the hospital! Mom has been hospitalized because of accident!" He uttered, para bang gumuho ang aking mundo nang binalita niya yuun. Even mom mad at me, I still love her because she's my mom.

"Manong, at t-the hospital p-please" my voice was cracked in the moment I uttered. Agad naman tumungo si Kuya Driver sa hospital, for now I should not spy Jeremy, because mom needs me.

Sa buong byahe umiiyak lang ako, the driver keep asking me if I'm okay but I'm just responded that I'm okay even thought it I'm not okay.

How I could be okay if my dad left us? If my best friend avoiding me? When my mom got hospitalized? How?
Tell me how I could be okay?

Hindi ko namalayan na nakarating na pala kami sa hospital agad akong lumabas ng taxi at tumungo na agad sa kwarto kung saan naka-confined si mommy.

"Nurse? Where's the room of Ms. Velina Montessori?" I asked the nurse in the counter. "Room 302" she answered. Dali dali akong pumunta roon, tuloy lang ang agos ng aking mga luha even though my eyes get blurred because of the tears.
