Harper's P.O.V.
May 22nd
The rehearsal went smooth and together. We were able to get in and out within an hour. So now we are headed to dinner at a small reception hall.
Eli's parents are suppose to be there and a couple of close friends. We get there and everyone is coming in with nice clothes.
We sit down and get our drinks and food. After eating and talking Eli stands up and wants to speak.
Eli's P.O.V.
Cling.....cling.....cling....cling....
"Can I have everyone's attention?" I asked
"Good evening....first I would like to thank you all for coming to support my fiancée and I." I said
I turned and looked at Harper because I was about to say something very heartfelt to her.
"Harper I love you, and you have dealt with me and all my problems. I love you beyond compare. My heart truly aches when we are not together. You are my heart, my everything. Tomorrow is the day we become one. I hate saying the ordinary things people say. But everyone I don't know where I would be without her. I can now say that your are mine and I am yours." I said kissing her and sitting down
Harper stood to say something.
"Again from the bottom of of heart we truly tbh n you all for all the support and love that you have given us. Eli there is so many things that I could say about you. How great of a partner you have been, how great of a father you are, and how great of a husband I know you will be. We have been through so much together and that has only made our love and relationship stronger. I honestly have been so getty because I am so excited to marry you. I love you to the moon and back." Harper said
Isaac then stood up to speak
"Yay, you know I love you guys truly. If you don't know, I am Isaac Jameson. Harper she saw me, I should be still where I was, I should be in gang, I should be still a product of my circumstances. I was given a second chance and my father took me in as I was his own. He nurtured me and loved me. I graduated last year and my mother was given another chance to change her life. I love you guys for every song . I wish you all the best in love and happiness." Isaac said
Thank you I mouthed towards Isaac. We finished eating and we ate cake and left. It was about 10:30 pm when we left, so us guys had to hurry and get our bag packed so we could go to a hotel for the night. We got back to the house and Isaac had dropped off Morgan on the way back.
We went inside and Jackson was asleep so I laid him on the couch so I could go pack a bag for him and I.
I went up and grabbed my black leather suitcase. I grabbed 2 pairs of Polo boxer briefs, the I grabbed 3 polo white Calvin Klein t-shirts, pajama pants, my toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, brush, red and black patterned socks and some black and white ones also, basketball shorts, John Lobb Alford dress shoes (that were still in the box, because I had bought them for the wedding), my tuxedo, and bow tie.
Then I went and packed Jackson's suitcase I grabbed his small black duffel back suitcase I packed his black boxers, little white Calvin Klein t-shirt, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, solid black socks, Dolce & Gabbana dress slippers, pajama pants, t-shirt, tuxedo, and bow tie.
I zipped his bag and made sure we had everything and took them downstairs and sat them by the door. Issac came down a couple of minutes later on the phone with no one other than Morgan.
"Babe!!!" I yelled
"Yeah" she yelled back
"We are about to leave for the hotel" I said
Harper walked to the door with her hair up in a ponytail, a clear mask, and her pajamas.
"Ahhhh babe I wish it wasn't bad luck to see your husband before you wedding." Harper said
"Yeah I know it by the time you go to sleep and wake up we will be right back joined at the hip." I said
"Okay babe, I love you" she said before kissing me multiple times
We kissed one last time before I put everything in the car. I packed everything up in Isaac's car and Jackson got in. Isaac got in and puts his seatbelt on and I get in also.
"Don't forget to set the alarm" I yelled
"I won't, I love you" Harper said as we pulled off
We drove to Four Seasons hotel we got 2 City View Suites. That's was enough for both us and my groomsmen. They had already checked in and went to sleep. We got upstairs and showered and went to bed.
The Wedding Day
May 23rd
Harper's P.O.V.
Today is the day, the day I marry my best friend. Our wedding is at 6p this and it's 9:45 am. My bridesmaids haven't arrived yet but they are suppose to be here at 11:00 am. Surprisingly Eli's mom has changed tremendously. I have no idea what he said or told her but she has made a complete 180. She offered to bring all the bridesmaid breakfast and she offered to pay for the make-up artists, hairstylist, and a manicurist to come and help us get ready.
I heard the front door open and turned on my tv and clicked to the security cameras and saw that it was only Eli's mom. I turned the tv back to cable and turn it off. I get up out of the bed and go own the curtains and shades.
I walked into my bathroom prepared to take a shower.
I pulled my hair up and washed my overnight clear mask off my face. I walked out of my room and walked down the hall to wake up Diamond.
"Diamond come on get up, grandma Martha is here with breakfast. You have to eat now the bridesmaids and stylist will be here in an hour." I said
"Okay I'm coming give me a minute." Diamond said
"Okay if your not downstairs in 5 minutes I am coming up here." I said shutting her door
I walked downstairs to find Martha setting up pastries and breakfast sandwiches on dishes. Then she put like 3 or 4 juices into the refrigerator to get cooled.
"Hey Harper, happy wedding day! how are you?" Martha asked
"Thank you, I am good....excited, nervous, and happy all at once." I said
"Well that's normal sweetheart and you and Eli are going to be wonderful as husband and wife I just know it. Harper I truly hope that you have forgiven me for everything I have done in the past and all the rude and disrespectful stuff I said." She said
"Oh Martha, I have forgiven you a long time ago but today begins a new slate and we are about to become family." I said
She hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.
"I am so happy to have another daughter. But I brought breakfast for everyone just as I had promised but we are just waiting for everybody to get here." Martha said
"Yeah so what breakfast did you get?" I asked Martha
"Well I got some breakfast sandwiches with bacon, sausage patties, and sausage links. Then I got some donuts some jelly-filled, cream cheese, bear claw donut, cinnamon rolls, glazed, sprinkled, and powdered donuts, and many more. Then I got Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Grape Juice, Cran-Apple Juice, Cran-Grape Juice, Water, and nespresso pods." Martha said
"Wow you got it laid out enough to feed an army." I said
"Well I want to make sure we have enough even for the stylists." Martha said
"Did Joe go to the hotel last night or did he stay at home and then went to the hotel this morning?" I asked
"Well he had intentions of going after we got home from the rehearsal dinner. He went home to pack an overnight bag and while he was packing he just put on his pajamas and went to sleep. He had been working all day and then stayed out kind of late for us old folks. " Martha said
"Sounds like how I feel." I said
Diamond walked in and she looked like she has worked a full-time job and then a 3rd shift.
"Diamond why do you look so tired?" I asked
"Well last night after you told me to go to bed. I started playing my game. But I started watching family guy and then couldn't go to sleep so I play 2k online and then I still couldn't go to sleep so I played around on Watch Dogs and then I looked at the clock and it was about 4:45 in the morning." Diamond said
"Well that is completely your fault because I told you to go to bed and you didn't so you have to suffer the consequences of being tired today. Somewhere while everyone is getting ready you might be able to get a nap in. " I said
"Okay but do you mind handing me a Cinnamon Roll and that cream cheese filled donut." Diamond asked me
"Yeah here" I said
We sat and are our donuts and drank our tea and coffee. By the time we ate it was 10:30 am.
"Come on Diamond let's go shower before the stylists get here. Martha can you let the bridesmaid and stylist in if they come while I am in the shower." I asked her
"Sure yeah I will go shower." Martha said
20 minutes later
I finished showering and put lotion on and out my black cotton robe. I grabbed my black slippers and then walked downstairs to find my bridesmaids and the stylist.
"Hey my beautiful bridesmaids we have to be ready by 4:00 because the limo will be here at 4:15 and we have to go and take bridesmaid pictures. And we have to be at the church at 5:00 pm. So you can eat while you are waiting to get your nails, hair, or make-up down." I said
Eli's P.O.V.
We have time to waste because us men don't take long all we need to do is shower and put on a suit but we have to be at the church at 5:00 pm so we can take groomsmen pictures.
It's 11:00 pm so we get up and go downstairs and get breakfast.
"Jackson....Isaac.....Jackson....Isaac....c'mon and get up so we can go get breakfast." I said
"C'mon 5 more minutes dad" Isaac said
"No get up so we can go work out." I said
Isaac and Jackson finally get up put on a shirt and shoes. While they are getting dressed I walked next door to tell the other ones to get up.
"Jason, Jacob, Michael,Anthony, Andrew, are you guys up?" I yelled through the door
Mike opened the door and I saw the guys sitting up.
"Come on get up and we have time to get a hour workout in before the wedding." I said
"Alright man give us a minute we will meet you down at breakfast." Mike said
"Okay" I said
I walked back to our room and Issac and Jackson were up and ready. We went downstairs to eat breakfast the guys joined us a few minutes after. We finished eating our breakfast and dad showed up in the breakfast area with his black tux and his Gucci duffel bag and he had on some Nike sweatpants, and a black v-neck.
"Hey dad" I said going up to shake his hands
"Hey son how are you? It's your wedding day." My father said
"I am good just excited, nervous, and happy all at the same time." I said
"Okay so what are y'all about to do because we have some time to kill?" Dad asked
"Well right now it's about 12:45, we have to be ready by 4:00 because we have to go and take groomsmen pictures before the wedding. So now we are about to go and get our gym shoes and sit around till about 1 then go up and workout till about 2:15 and come back and get dressed." I said
"Okay son sounds like a plan. Luckily I wore gym shoes here." my father said
We went upstairs and grabbed our gym shoes and went up to the gym to work out. This gym was pretty good, the weights went up to 75 lbs which isn't normal for a hotel gym. Then they had multiple workout machines. But we mainly stuck with the weights, bench press and squat machine.
"Guy it's 2:17 we have to go and start getting dressed because we have to be ready in about an hour. Both the SUVs will be here at 4:00 pm." I said
"C'mon man let's go get dressed for your wedding." Mike said
